What you can expect

Learn more about the Croatian Homeland War in the city nicknamed the Hero City. You will visit the Vukovar Water Tower, which had a special significance for the defenders' morale during the Battle of Vukovar.

The battle exhausted the Yugoslav People's Army and proved a turning point in the Croatian War of Independence. A cease-fire was declared a few weeks later.

The tour starts in front of the Water Tower, the symbol of the city of Vukovar, and ends in the same place.

An entrance ticket for the Water Tower is included. An lift will take us to the tower's top, offering a magnificent view of the city and the Danube River.
