Next, head to The Heke, Waiheke’s acclaimed craft brewery and distillery, set amongst four acres of beautiful gardens. Join a guided brewery and distillery experience and learn how their craft beer and premium whisky are made, from grain to glass. Finish with tastings of locally crafted whisky and beer.

From there, continue to Allpress Olive Groves for a premium guided tasting of award-winning extra virgin olive oils. Learn about the olives grown on Waiheke, how they are harvested and pressed, and the flavours that make each oil unique.

Following the tasting, sit down to a gourmet seasonal lunch at Allpress Olive Groves. Surrounded by mature olive trees and beautiful gardens, enjoy fresh local produce in a relaxed and stylish setting — a wonderful place to slow down and enjoy the island’s food culture.

At 2:00 pm, make your way to Oneroa Village, Waiheke’s charming seaside hub. Enjoy free time to browse boutique shops, galleries and local stores, pick up a few souvenirs or simply wander through the village and soak up the relaxed island atmosphere.

Your day finishes with a return to Matiatia Ferry Terminal for your ferry back to Auckland.
