Overview

The Sumidero Canyon is a spectacular geological fault located in Chiapas, Mexico. Its colossal walls of limestone rock rise up to 1,000 metres above the Grijalva riverbed. It is one of the most important nature reserves in the country and a must-see destination for ecotourism, adventure and wildlife viewing.
The viewpoints offer giddy and spectacular panoramic views from above, ideal for sunset.
