Guests will begin their experience with a safety briefing before boarding a purpose-built vessel. In St Lucia, this includes an exciting surf launch from the beach. Once at sea, the skipper and qualified marine guide will navigate along the coastline in search of humpback whales during their annual migration. Guests will spend approximately two hours on the ocean observing whales in their natural environment, which may include breaching, tail slapping, spy-hopping, and if you are lucky even mother-and-calf interactions. Throughout the excursion, guides provide informative commentary about whale behaviour, migration patterns, marine conservation, and the surrounding ecosystem. Depending on conditions, sightings may also include dolphins, seabirds, turtles, or other marine life.
