Day 1: Yala and Ella
Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel in Wadduwa, Kalutara, Beruwala, Aluthgama, Bentota, Induruwa, Ambalangoda, Hikkaduwa, Galle, Unawatuna, or Koggala. Head to Yala National Park for a thrilling safari experience. Keep your eyes peeled for elephants, leopards, and a variety of bird species.
Next, visit the Rawana Waterfall, a stunning cascade surrounded by lush greenery. Continue to Little Adam's Peak for a short hike with breathtaking views of the Ella Gap. Finally, head to the Nine Arches Bridge, an iconic railway bridge set amidst the jungle. Spend the night in Ella.
Day 2: Nuwara Eliya and Kandy
Board a scenic train to Nuwara Eliya, often referred to as “Little England” for its colonial architecture and cool climate. Visit a tea plantation and factory to learn about the tea-making process and enjoy a fresh cup of Ceylon tea.
Continue to the Ramboda Waterfall, a picturesque cascade nestled in the hills. Arrive in Kandy, where you'll explore the city and visit the Temple of the Tooth, a sacred Buddhist site. Spend the night in Kandy.
Day 3: Dambulla and Sigiriya
Visit an authentic spice and herb garden to learn about Sri Lanka's rich culinary heritage. Continue to the Dambulla Golden Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site with ancient cave temples filled with Buddhist statues and murals.
Finally, climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a massive rock column that rises 200 metres above the surrounding jungle. Explore the ancient ruins and enjoy panoramic views from the top. After your adventure, return to your hotel.
