Start off with a 1.5-hour trip from Yogyakarta to reach the Jomblang cave. Be lowered inside a well-like formation manually by 4-5 people holding the harness to the rope. Feel yourself in safe hands with another two people waiting to get you out of the harness when you reach the bottom.

Once inside, start walking along the muddy rock trail to reach the cave. Take in the view of the sunshine pouring into the dark cavernous space from above, illuminating the plants that thrive in the moist environment.
