What you can expect

Begin your adventure with a convenient pickup from your hotel. Head to Jozani Forest, the largest area of mature forest in Zanzibar, located in the south of the island.

Upon arrival, meet your guide and embark on a walking tour through the ancient hardwood forest and mangrove swamps. Keep an eye out for the Red Colobus monkeys, unique to Zanzibar, with less than 2000 remaining in the world. Learn about the diverse wildlife that calls this forest home.

After exploring the forest, continue to the Butterfly Centre. Discover the endemic species of Zanzibar’s butterflies and explore every facet of a butterfly's life cycle. Step into the enchanting feeding ritual, where you're welcome to let butterflies grace your hand with their delicate flight.
