Begin your adventure with a convenient hotel pickup in Zhangjiajie. Head to the entrance of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and take an eco-shuttle to the Yuanjiajie Scenic Area.

Visit the famous Southern Sky Column, the real-life inspiration for Pandora’s floating peaks in Avatar. Cross the First Bridge Under Heaven, a natural stone bridge, and enjoy breathtaking valley views. Walk along elevated walkways to photograph misty quartz-sandstone pillars.

Enjoy a local Chinese lunch at a mountain restaurant before heading to Zhangjiajie West Railway Station. Take a high-speed train to Furong Town Station and admire the 60-meter-high waterfall cascading through the ancient town. Take an optional walk behind the waterfall (poncho provided).

Stroll along Wuli Stone Street, a 2,000-year-old cobblestone high street, and browse local handicrafts and Tujia snacks. Visit traditional wooden stilt buildings and photo spots. Capture classic postcard views of the waterfall and town from the viewing platform.

Watch the Furong Waterfall Light Show as the waterfall is illuminated with colourful lights, transforming into a shimmering water curtain. Wander lantern-lit alleys and photograph the town’s magical night scenery. Finally, transfer back to your Zhangjiajie hotel or get dropped off at Furong Town Station.
