Start your day leaving from Bogota for the Bogota Savannah, enjoying a panoramic tour of Andean landscapes until you reach one of the most mystical places in Colombia: the Guatavita Lagoon. There you will take a guided walk along ecological trails while discovering the history of the Muisca people and the origin of the legendary legend of El Dorado. From the natural viewpoints you can contemplate the emerald colour of the lagoon and know the ancient indigenous rituals of offerings of gold. Then you will continue the journey to the charming colonial village of Zipaquirá, where you will have time to have lunch and enjoy the local atmosphere. Later you will visit the impressive Cathedral of Salt of Zipaquirá, considered the First Wonder of Colombia. You will descend approximately 180 metres underground to explore this spectacular cathedral dug in a salt mine. During the tour you will meet the Via Crucis, the great dome, the central nave and the sculptures carved in salt, as your guide shares stories about mining and the creation of this extraordinary underground temple.
