“A lovely hotel in a good location for Lisbon or Sintra”
We just had 3 nights in the Jardim de Amadora and it was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room and bathroom were excellent, the buffet breakfast was great and we really liked everything. It is very close to Amadora railway station and then exactly 15 minutes on the train to Rossio station,right in the central square of Lisbon! The trains were frequent, cheap, clean and punctual. The hotel does not have a car park but we had no trouble in finding a parking space right outside the door. The hotel is on a lovely park and the general area is very cosmopolitan We found a great value Brazilian restaurant in the town centre at the other side of the station. We definitely recommend it.
“not too bad,you get what you pay for.”
I usually stay in hostels,so this place with it's very reasonable prices and clean shared facilities was fine for me.You can also eat as much as you like from the breakfast buffet,it set's you up for the day.Although around 9-10 kms from Lisbon city centre,the hotel is right next to Amodora train station on the Sintra-Lisbon urban line(don't confuse with metro(Amodora Este) which is a bit of a walk away),the trains are frequent and they run from around 5.30am until 1.30am,they also take less than 15 mins to get into the city centre for a little over 1 euro each trip.(there is also a 4.30 am train from Lisbon Rossio back to Amodora if you want to stay out a little later!).Perfectly fine place to stay,and just as good a base for beautiful Sintra(25 mins on train,again just over 1 euro)as it is for Lisbon.
“excellent budget accommodation”
Friendly staff. The hotel is 15 minutes by train from the centre of Lisbon. Nice breakfast great cafe late !
“Good cheap room.”
This is a good place to stay if you want a clean, no frills bed to sleep in. Close to the Amadora train station and about 15 minutes by train to downtown Lisbon. This is for those on a very tight budget.
“Needs work”
Great easy commute into central Lisoba. On street parking aavailable in area. Hotel really needs to upgrade the shared bathroom. Although relatively clean and available, the entire bathroom is very very tired. Signage on the front of the hotel is minimal
“Bad Neighborhood”
I don't recommend this hotel at all! It takes 15 to 20 minutes by train to get to Lisbon's main touristic sites! The surrounding neighborhood is not good at all!!! The room and bathroom are good, but in the end I wouldn't recommend this hotel!
“disappointing”
when we entered in our room the tv is not working for 3days there where no toilet rolls on the first day, on the first other rooms not granted for the 4 rooms only one toilet .it is noisy in the middle of the night

Small tower block hotel. Furnishings and fittings outdated. Basic. Noisy due to the fact the hotel is situated next to a railway line, a childrens play area and a football pitch. Kids playing football until 2am. A 20 minutes taxi ride into the heart of the city.
