“King George Palace, Athens”
Excellent hotel, very posh, luxurious, excellent breakfast and views of the acropolis!
“6 star service”
Wonderful service, room service food is excellent. Staff Great
“Good price for comfort”
Super
“Definitely stay here”
This is in the perfect location. Athens is really gritty in some parts but this is in a safe location within walking distance to all the main sites. The hotel was beautifully decorated with a terrace. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
“Athen's Best Hotel!”
A truly amazing experience. The staff was attentative and very exceptional. The location is absolutely the best, the heart of the city. Walking distance to everything, metro, Acropolis, Plaka, museums, Parliament, shopping, casual and fine dining and a whole lot more! The rooms are a fair size, but extremely well decorated. Very lavish and luxurious, even for a "superior room" and the bed was heavenly. A boutique hotel, and a pleasant experience.
“Fantastic!”
This is a beautiful hotel in a great location as all the attractions are within easy walking distance. Our room, with a balcony to admire Syntagma Square from, was lovely, comfortable and immaculate. We received the best service we've ever experienced in a hotel from the friendly, helpful staff. The restaurant is fab too, and the view from it is stunning. A very special place indded. We can't wait to go back.
“AN EXCELLENT EXAMPLE OF FIVE STAR SERVICE”
Breakfast on the balcony has a view of the Acropolis. Internet in your room's included, which is good. The staff are friendly and helpful and work to a genuine five star standard. It's a good place, let's hope the debt crisis doesn't completely destroy it.
“breakfast doubled its worth”
really nice hotel. not modern, "classical" so don't get bent out of shape if it isn't the four seasons. the breakfast was FABULOUS and the view made the price of the hotel worth it and more. concierge was on/off depending on his mood but at the end of the day i got what i wanted/needed. don't go for the pool it is 2 levels below ground and deep, small kids can't stand up. location right next to subway so very convenient and don't worry about the demonstrations, the square was a little beat up but not menacing. enjoy!
“Lovely Hotel”
The hotel was beautiful! It was centrally located and the style of the rooms were classic and elegant. Food was slightly pricey for the quality of food but all other aspects were perfect. Request room with a view.
“Proven Customer Service”
We stayed one evening at the King George II Palace during our vacation in Greece. Our room was luxurious (although on the small side) and breakfast on the top floor veranda overlooking the Acropolis outstanding (wonderful smoked salmon among the buffet offerings). Unfortunately, I inadvertently left my cell phone charger in the room when we departed. As soon as we landed at our next destination (Rhodes),I telephoned to inquire if it had been found. The concierge couldn't have been more efficient or helpful. In a matter of minutes, he advised me it would be at his desk for pick-up upon our return to Athens or sent to me in the States if that was not possible. Truly, a first class operation!
