“the place where perfection is the norm”
Luxurious hideout with phenomenal service where the entire staff calls you by your name. The grounds maintain perfect harmony with nature, and special attention has been placed to the details. It has a world class spa with splendid vistas of the ocean, where you can indulge in perfect therapies for the soul. Experience the place where all your expectations are exceeded!!!
“Would go back for sure!”
Beautiful hotel and breakfast was wonderful!
“Great Spot”
We booked a 2 bedroom suite and 1 bedroom studio. Both are huge. Staff greeted me by my Surname after day 1 and also remembered what kind of tea my wife had at breakfast and would bring it every morning. Staff very pleasant and friendly but not over bearing. Pool not huge but does not have to be. Amazing sunsets every evening. Very relaxed area with large day beds. You do not have to ask for beach towels - they just arrive as soon as you approach a deck chair or day bed. The beach is average but I found that about most beaches I went to in Bali. I discovered that this hotel is a member of the best small hotels of the world. The property is not new but this adds to the class of the hotel. The hotel is also within walking distance of good restaurants and shopping areas.
“Fabulous Hotel in Bali”
Fabulous five star hotel full of beautiful people and well-heeled travelers. Service was first class all the way. If you like attention from wait staff, you'll love this place. Rooms (we had a suite) were nicely done in traditional Balinese decor. The Ipods in the bedroom and the tv area were loaded with music and attached to surround sound - great touch. Cable tv worked and had lots of channels. Infinity pool was very classy and offered great ocean views. Spa was fantastic - try the couples bath followed by traditional Balinese massage. Location is as advertised - right on beach. Beach is clean, safe, and uncrowded. Plenty of lounge chairs at pool and beach. Usual beach hawkers pitching hats, sunglasses, and sarongs were persistent but not overbearing. The hotel security seemed to do a good job at keeping them at bay. Breakfast buffet was nicely done with good selection and great service. Town is a five minute cheap (!!!) taxi ride away. Nothing of worth in walking distance. Plenty of shopping and restaurants in town. The nighttime facilities (i.e. restaurant, bar) are limited so plan on going into town every night. Probably not a place for young children. Our 17 year old loved it. So what didn't we like? 1) Billing mix up. Suffered through attempts during both check in and check out to avoid charges that had been prepaid to Expedia. 2) Concierge recommendation for Japanese restaurant - simply awful. They should vet these things.
“Great hotel”
Great hotel, spacious suites and very well located
“Bali Paradise”
Wonderful hotel that truly thinks of everything. Much of the staff welcome you by name and many little extras provided. Beach lounge chairs are provided with sun tan lotion and fresh ice water is brought to you about hourly. Breakfast is excellent and both evening meals were wonderful. I would trecommend that visitors at least once to walk up the beach to next resort for dinner on the beach, Don't hold back because of construction ongoing on this site. Exceptionally nice rooms and free soft drinks in the bar fridge is a pleasant extra. Great ocean views.Waves were strong during our visit at end of March and few went in the water. At high tide very little beach, but at low tide beach is very wide. All in all a wonderful place and good value for the money.
“Great level of Service”
A real Luxury Hotel
“great hotel”
Great hotel in a lovely position right on the beach. Beds not that comfortable, if you like hard mattresses and pillows you will be happy . Upon arrival no hairdryer in our bathroom and the tv did not work.. These issues were rectified quickly. Some desk staff need to have a better understanding of English. Breakfasts were great and the food was good.
“The Legian”
We had a great family holiday at the Legian and would recommend it to people travelling with children and also couples.
