“Family dive trip at the Aura”
The Aura was amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was beautiful and extremely clean. Our room far exceeded our expectations, it was huge and very comfortable. The food and drinks were wonderful. Our only complaint was the small electric water heaters didn't allow for long showers. We will stay at the Aura again the next time we go to Cozumel.
“Wish we could have stayed longer.”
This was the most enjoyable vacation my husband and I have had. Normally, when our scheduled days are up, we are wanting to leave and go home. This time we both wished we could have stayed a few days longer.
“Highly recommend!”
We had an amazing time at the Aura. The room was spacious, clean, and cool. We stayed in a third floor room with the roof top pool, and loved it. It's nice that there is a second bathroom and shower on the roof, too. The rooms are tightly sealed (which made the door a little hard to close) but it kept the air in and the bugs out. If you've stayed at other resorts in the Caribbean or Mexico, you know how significant this is. The food and the service was amazing. Top-notch service: knowledgeable and thoughtful, anticipating what you need without hovering or crowding. At Hava, I recommend the cheese fondu, the mixed ceviche, and the grouper (served with a beurre blanc sauce to rival that of any other restaurant). In the main restaurant, the veal was phenomenal. And the steaks! My husband had a different cut of steak each night, each more delicious than the last. Every plate for breakfast, lunch, or dinner could have been from a magazine. It was never had a problem getting a chair on the beach or by the pool. It was nice to have waiter service poolside and on the beach as well. We brought our snorkel gear, but could have left it at home, as the beach dive shop provides it free of charge. Snorkeling on the beach was hit or miss. One day we saw nothing, while another day we saw a wide variety of fish. Others saw star fish and rays as well.
“Very Good Experience”
The staff was very helpful and willing to get you anything you needed for free. But you did have to ask and specify the amount. For example I would like to order four bottles of water otherwise you get four per day in your room. The drinks were top notch. Many people brought there own larger cups from home. Which seems like it would save some trips to the bar. I would recommend taking water shoes because walking into the ocean is rocky but the beach is ok. The beaches offsite are even better. We rented the jeep, which is $100 after all the fees, but worth it. The food was really good. The views are beautiful. Our room did not have any drawers which made things very messy. The Mosaique and Robertos at the Sabor were both very good, but there is a dress code and reservations are required. The drinks there are not as good. The town is full of souvenir shops and restaurants and jewelry stores which are very high priced. But there were a few cheaper things to bring home to the kids. Overall we were very very pleased. They had bottled water and imported ice, so no problems with the water. The showers were plenty hot and they had all the modern conveniences. We would definitely go back!
“Excellent trip”
Excellent staff and hotel. Everyone was more then helpful. The hotel was clean, updated and beautiful. As a 4 star hotel the food was excellent. I am not into the very fancy food and would have like to see more of a selection. I stayed for 4 days and if any longer I would have need to venture out for different food. Dont get me wrong the food was excellent it was just limited. The biggest thing I have to compliment is the people who made the stay so great. Sandy at the checkin desk was so helpful and she was so pleasant to speak with. This was the first vacation that my wife and I have been on without the kids and it was perfect. Very relaxing and the view was perfect. The room we stayed o was the 2 bedroom swim up, they upgraded us at no charge and it was AWESOME. It was bigger then my house. the room was perferct. I also felt very safe at the hotel. I have been in law enforecement for the past 10 years and I would definetly say it was safe to be there. I would definetly recommend this to friend. I will be returning. Thanks for a great vacation. One more thing, dont go out in town if there are no cruise ships docked, nothing is open.
“Fifth Time There!”
This was our 5th time staying at the Aura and every time we visit it is better than the previous trip. This was special because it was our 20th Anniversary and the team really went out of their way to ensure we had a great time. There was an issue with our Anniversary dinner plans but the team did a great job ensuring that we were taken care of. Aura is a beautiful and peaceful place, with very good food and drinks. We did notice that some maintenance had been neglected in the rooms and pool area but overall it's a beautiful place that we're sure you will enjoy.
“Great value and a great place!”
Our stay at the Aura Cozumel Wyndham Grand Bay exceeded our expectations, the customer service was excellent from check in to check out and everything in between. Accomodations were very nice. The staff was very accomodating and the facility was very clean. We definitely will go back! The food was good. We dined at the restaurant that required reservations, and we were rushed. They suggested we order everything all at once and as soon as we finished our salads the entree arrived, we were looking for a leasure dining experience that evening and we arrive 1 hour prior to leaving. However, the food and service was good.

Sand Dollar sports was very helpful! All of the Hotel staff were very helpful and kind. I will always try and stay at Wyndham resorts!

The food was great, service was great, the beach was beautiful! I can't wait to go back next year. If you want a hot night life this place is not for you. If you want calm, relaxing, refreshing and no screaming kids - you will love this place.
