"This was a nice hotel. the restaurant food and service was excellent, but a little pricey. It is not on the main Island of Venice, but rather on Murano which makes transportation inconvenient. Upon arrival in the area, there are very few signs as to where to park or how to get to Murano. The water transportation is confusing without specific instructions which the hotel didn't provide. "I enjoyed my stay at Splendid at Venice. It was probably the only hotel my family enjoyed in Italy! Super convenient to the main areas in Venice. Staff was super friendly and let us check in early. The shower had terrible water pressure and the soap provided was not good. it was meant for your hair and your body, both which did not work out. The bed was okay. It was a little hard.
