"I was disappointed in the hair that was around the bathroom and peanut m&m's that were on the floor under the bed. I expected more from the hotel but kind of feel like the standard of cleanliness is not really high anywhere in Vegas."

"Charming and beautiful. Yes it’s a historic building and it’s small and sometimes things look dated but by far it’s been one of the cleanest and comfortable hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff was amazing and the location is perfect. A true urban gem for those looking to take in a real and raw experience of San Francisco in a safe and clean environment "

"I stay at the El Cortez for the "mob" feeling and how close it is to the Fremont St Experience without all the noise from the bands! Great restaurants within walking distance. I stay here everytime I'm in Vegas for sure. "
