“Great hotel - great location!”
The hotel room was clean and well appointed. The room was small for two people to share. The location was great - I had read about the nighttime noise in the area due to the partying and bars....yet it was quiet for us. I was there for 3 nights, and only 1 night was noisy, but it didn't keep us from sleeping. I would stay there again.
“Great location and staff”
The hotel is in an absolutely great location in the temple bar area and is also within walking distance to everything in dublin! Staff was very friendly and accomodating and rooms were clean! Can't wait to go back
“Great Location”
We stayed there for 6 nights and we spent 5 days throughout the city and 1 day on a trip to Newgrange (Must go!). Having spent so much time in Dublin itself we walked everywhere and not once took any form of transportation. In fact its so close to everything that if it starts to rain or you want to use your own private restroom you can go to you room and take a break without having to walk no more then 15 minutes from any direction. We had the top floor with balcony and it was very nice to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere. Of course in previous descriptions YES there is noise of kegs being tossed from the pubs early in the morning but my wife slept through the noise every night and thats with the door/ window open. I woke up twice but nothing to complain since the location was perfect. I will stay there again!!!
“Location,Location,Location!”
The hotel is in a great location close to all amenities & nightlife! The staff are fantastic & go out of their way to be helpful.I wasn't happy with the first room we had as it was quite noisy so they were more than willing to change our room for us. Rooms are small but comfortable & spotlessly clean. The hotel is at western end of Temple bar which is two minutes walk from Dublin Castle and 5 minutes walk from Trinity college! The Guiness Brewery is fantastic & very well laid out + you get a free Guiness at the end. Dublin is not only great for nightlife but also shopping.Take the bridge across the Liffey for more shops & pubs. Grafton street is excellent for shopping too.On arriving take the air bus into the centre of Temple bar (about 40 mins trip @ 5 euros)but I advise getting a taxi for returning @ approx. 22 euro. I have travelled alot & absolutely loved my stay in Dublin & The Paramount Hotel.I shall definitely be going back to Dublin & will use the Paramount Hotel again!
“value for money”
great hotel, good location, value for money, would stay there again.
“Very nice hotel”
The hotel was very lovely,it is located right in Temple Bar. It's only problem was the noise as the bar across the street kicks out at 3am. Apart from that small disruption we really enjoyed our stay. The bathroom and bedroom are of an outstanding standard. We would definately go back.
“great location, but the location is loud”
The Paramount Hotel is a great place to stay if you want to be in Temple Bar in Dublin. The staff is friendly and the rooms are big enough and cozy. One note - the Temple Bar area is loud, period. Remember that when booking. If you don't want to hear the people and the bars on the street until 2am, don't stay here. If you want to enjoy the pub atmosphere, then it's a perfect location!
“A great find”
Perfect location, comfortable room, friendly service.
“Paramount Hotel”
Fantastic location, very clean and comfortable. Perfect for the price.
“Great Hotel for the Money”
The room was clean, large, and a great value for the money. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location a few blocks from Temple Bar and down the street from the Dublin Castle. Great place!!
