“Excellent - Very Impressed”

Being a Best Western, I wasn't sure what to expect - the ones in Michigan aren't always so great. But this wasn't like any Best Western here, this place was far BETTER than expected - was such nice hotel, everything clean and looked recently remodeled. The staff was super friendly. Excellent location in relation to Duval St and the beach at the Southernmost Point. Great air conditioning (it was HOT when we were there!), pool, jacuzzi. We had a great rate. Would definitely recommend/stay there again.

This is a great place to stay. You get more for your money. Convenient to everything. There were a group of us who stayed here and everyone said how great this place was. Highly recommended!!!!

“Best Western Hibiscus Motel, Key West, FL, March 2010”

The Best Western Hibiscus Hotel is located in a very convenient location, a block from southern end of Duval Street, the primary tourist street in all of historic Key West. Since we travel to see sights and not spend time inside hotel rooms, we opt for good lodgings close to centers of activity. The accommodations are fine -- clean rooms, clean bathrooms, decent beds, friendly staff -- but don't expect luxurious or upscale. The free breakfast bar is great, with pour-yourself waffles, muffins, fruit, toast, juice, coffee, and you can walk a few steps to the pool area and eat at umbrella-shaded tables as sun comes up. Then you can just walk a block to Duval Street and stroll your way northward, past Hemingway House, lighthouse, all way up to Mallory Square and the night-life district. Or if you don't want to walk, a block from hotel is kiosk where you can buy all-day tickets for tourist buses which pick up and drop off every few blocks around Duval Street, surrounding streets, and even tours new Key West.

“Great Location !!!”

Great location for families and couples- Just a block from Duval Street-Just far enough away from the noise- A couple of blocks from the beach- (my impression prior to arrival that the hotel was closer in proximity to the beach)- However, Key West is really not a beach destination- really nice room- pool is really nice- clean and upgraded landscaped- ample free parking- breakfast room too small for all of the guests- would recommend this hotel...

“Great stay!”

We had a wonderful stay at this location. The hotel was clean, roomy - everything we needed for our stay! The pool was a perfect outlet, after a long day of site seeing! The continental breakfast was a great start to our days!

Great value for the $$. Nice large room, comfortable & clean. Very nice pool area. Breakfast was better than expected. Bagles, cereal, fruit, toast etc... choice of juices, tea & coffee and was included in price.

Very nice place - I would stay again. Everything was clean - we even pulled back the sheets to check the mattresses........ a little walk to all the 'action' of Key West, but worth the walk.
