“Oasis in Hangzhou”
After days of travel and work, I found myself totally exhausted and near tears. I walked into the hotel, barely able to communicate. The staff understood immediately and within minutes I was in enveloped in the quiet comfort of my room. Room service turned out to be as fine as any restaurant I've dined at anywhere. The most succulent piece of Norwegian salmon, cooked to perfection. When a currency transaction was required, a hotel steward brought it to my room! I'll stay here again on my next trip.
“Top class”
With no exaggeration this is the best hotel I have tried in over 10 trips to China. The location right in front of the West Lake is simply perfect and the hotel's decor is very pleasant. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and functional. On top of that, the staff is very friendly and helpful in assisting with all requests, including reservations for trains, busses etc.

“One of the best”
I switched to this hotel after experiencing two noisy, sleepless nights in another hotel in Hangzhou. What a great surprise! I travel globally often, and can say that this Hyatt is one of the nicest hotels I have been in. Great service, and GREAT breakfast buffet. I travel to Hangzhou frequently, and this will be my ONLY choice of hotels in the future.
“Convenient and beautiful location”
If you want to travel to Hang Zhou, Hyatt Regency is the best choice. It is so convenient and at such a gorgeous location. You can see the beautiful west lake right through the window. Walking distince to shops, restuarants, tea houses, bars, and of course the lake is just right in front of you once you step out of the hotel.
“Perfect location”
This hotel was fabulous! The staff were extremely helpful and spoke English, the location was perfect and the food in the hotel restaurants was great. Remember to have your hotel address written out in Chinese characters for the taxi driver as outside the hotel there aren't many people who speak English.
“Great service”
We spent a very pleasant short stay recently at the Hyatt Regency Hangzhou. The service we received was truly outstanding. I reiterate here my special gratitude to hotel staff who demonstrated a sincere desire that we enjoy our stay.
“Not Impressed”
This is supposed to be the best hotel in HangZhou. the staff are well trained. the room need renovation and a bit small. the carpet is not very clean and the kingsize bed is made up of two smaller mattress. I can feel the seam in the middle when I laying down.

The breakfast pertaining to Vegetarian was not at all good. Rest all very good.
