Very close to the railway station. Easy to go to the castle and those temples around. Quiet location and nice staff. Only issue is not too many restaurants around. But there are some nice small ramen and teriyaki restaurants hiding around, need to walk around and looking for it. Good place to stay in Kyoto.

Although large this is a friendly hotel with great service. The choice of a Japanese or Western breakfast is a great idea to offer customers. The rooms are large by Japanese standards and very comfortable. It's easy to get there from the subway. The best thing is the plethora of really interesting restaurants and bars buried in all the backstreets surrounding the hotel.

Older property but well cleaned and staff are friendly. I'd advise against the "Western buffet" breakfast option and highly recommend going with the Japanese breakfast. The former is lacking unless you HAVE to have coffee and the latter is beautiful and delicious. One issue I had is the wifi is terrible, both in the room and in the common areas, so if you need to work, best to go elsewhere or bring your own.

Close to subway and buses. Easy walking distance to some historic places. Room was small but cozy and nice. The only thing bothered me was the common laundry area that was obviously filthy.

繁忙期でほぼ部屋が埋まっているのにも関わらず、防音がしっかりしていて周りの部屋の雑音がほぼ聞こえず、またこちらも気を使うことなく過ごせたので良かった。立地も良い。

So far one of the best budget hotels in Kyoto. Excellent service, located in city center, in easy reach to all the attractions. Wide choice and very good amenities. Loved that check in time and check out time is longer than in other hotels, so you can spend relaxed time. Very spacious and quiet rooms.

Comfortable stay
Great location (close enough to main city and imperial palace) and cozy renovated room with comfortable beds. The price was reasonable and service was excellent. I always use this hotel whenever I stay at Kyoto.

there is a small welcome game for kids. Kids can play the fishing game and win cookie bags. This is the warmest thing I ever seen. Moreover, welcome ice tea in lobby.
