“Good Food, Cold Drinks”
As soon as we arrived we were greated with a glass of champagne. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We ate at the buffet every morning, their breakfast selection was the best! The buffet right on the beach totally hit the spot after a long morning of swimming. The rooms were super cozy. We recommend to upgrade to a Ocean Front Room, totally worth it especially if you have little ones. All Inclusive is the way to go... My real only complaint on the room was the water temp. in the shower kept changing but other than that it was nice. The staff there is super friendly and will go to the extreme to make your stay there awesome. I have a 4 year old and he enjoyed the white sandy beach and the crystal blue water. Also everything you need is right there in the resort. From kayaking, snorkeling, jet ski and so much more.... We will definelty recommend Gran Porto Real to our family in friends..
“GREAT VACATION”
I just returned from Playa Del Mar and stayed at the Gran Porto Real for 6 nights. After doing a lot of research I decided to stay at the GPR and it was everything that I was looking for. First off the resort was beautiful and the staff was friendly and always helpful.Secondly it was centrally located,As far as resorts are concerned it was the closest to the famous 5th Ave where everyone goes to walk, shop, drink and eat. I am already thinking about my next trip back.
“Feels like home in Mexico”
Spacious room, everyone helpful and friendly. Service excellent. Will return to Gran Porto for next Mexican Vacation!!!!!
“Real Resort Hotels in Mexico are excellent !”
Our stay at the Gran Porto Real was excellent. It was one of the best vacatins we have had. The whole experience exceeded our expectations. We will return soon.
“Excellent experience for our first time in Mexico”
The Gran Porto Real was recommended to us by friends who stayed there a couple of years ago. We were somewhat apprehensive after reading reviews here, but after experiencing the resort for ourselves we can honestly say it was a first rate experience. Our room was on the street side, we had our own little patio area with chairs and a table. The room was small, but was meticulously cleaned every day. The bed was a little hard and the water temperature fluctuated wildly at times, but that's really the worst thing we have to say about our accommodations. The mini bar was stocked daily, we had plenty of towels and pillows. The buffet food was decent and plentiful. The a la carte restaurants were quite good, we didn't need reservations and never had to wait. The pool area is very nice. The pool bar was a lot of fun and we spent a fair amount of time there just hanging out, and watching the evening shows. The beach is gorgeous, lots of loungers, great swimming and body surfing. We never had a problem getting drinks, we tipped the servers and they came around every 15 minutes or so. The thing that really stood out to our group was the staff. Everyone we encountered seemed genuinely invested in making our stay as excellent as possible, and they certainly succeeded. We look forward to our next stay at the GPR.
“Very impressed...will return”
This hotel was more than I expected. Atmosphere and scenery was great. Everything you need is there. I was impressed with the food especially Albastros restaurant. What I also liked about the hotel was the location. Just one block up was 5th street. My husband and I went for our anniversary and we can't wait to go back with the kids.
“Had an excellent time with my two kids.”
Excellent hotel. Kids very well taken care of by friendly staff. Pools very clean and beach lovely. Activities desk very very helpful and relaxed: organized three excellent trips.
“Great hotel, location and service”
Gran Porto Real Resort and Spa was our first experience with an all-inclusive and we were very impressed with it. The staff was great! Best Day travel excursions was great! The hotel location was primo! The food and drink were all we could ask for. The pools were cold, especially the pool near the Health Sushi Bar. The hot tub was too hot. The nighly entertainment was wonderful! Fifth Avenue for shopping was very close and convenient. We celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary there. We would definitely go back there again!
“Can't wait to go back”
The hotel was very clean, and staff was ready to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
“Great location and surrounding area”
Great location next to the 5th avenue shops and the best beaches, and a 25 minute boat ride to Cozumel. Just perfect
