“A Quieter Rome”
If you are looking for the "Other Rome" this is the place for you. Situated just outside of the walls of Vatican City in a quiet residential neighborhood that has local shops, easy access to the bus lines and a Metro station. The flat was airy, comfortable plus breakfast and cleaning was included, this is self-catering without the work. The breakfast was wonderful and since the weather was sunny and warm, served in the roof garden (which was also open to residents at all other times) from which you can see the dome of St. Peter's Square. The staff are extremely helpful. and really want to help you have a good stay. Since you are a short bus ride or good walk to the sites of Imperial Rome you get a real feel for what it is like to actually live in the city and not just "doing" Rome.
“Excellent hotel!”
The Aurelia Residence is difficult to find from the metro and is only just located on the edge of the map the tourist information provide. Full details of how to find the hotel when booking would be really helpful. The staff are very helpful and friendly and assisted us with all our queries during our stay.
