“Splendide Royale”
Great hotel and great location!
“First Time in Rome, First Time in 5*, not the last”
Where-ever you go, you'll always be able to find little itsy-bitsy that you don't like, or which could be better or improved. Perfection does not exist. We were over the moon with the reception of the personnel, the comfort and the cleanliness. People were so nice to us. We did not try the hotel restaurant, as we did go out every night, so we won't judge on that.
“Quiet, Comfortable, Cetrally Located in Rome”
My wife and I spent 3 nights at this property for our 20th anniverary and were delighted with our choice. We arrived very jet-lagged at about 11:00 am and our room was ready for us. The 2 hour ensuing nap saved the day. Although conveniently located to Rome's major attractions, the hotel is very, very quiet - much more so than another 5 star we stayed at later during our visit. Our room was a bit small considering the price, but this really isn't unusual for Europe. The restaurant on the 7th floor is romantic and has a gorgeous view of the city. It's expensive, but the food and service were excellent. The complementary breakfasts were very good as well. The staff is friendly and speak English well.
“Great hotel with a very good location”
We really enjoyed our stay at the Splendide Royale in Rome. The location was very good as it was close to the Spanish steps and the shopping on Via Veneto. The location next to the Borghese gardens was also a plus. The staff was very professional and attentive to all of our needs. My only complaint is that the beds were rock hard which played a role in my inability to get a good night sleep.
“Very good hotel with a little bit of an over chic”
The good, pleasant and not a big hotel, which is located not really fat from the famous Place of Spain, might be one of the best recommendations for those, who wish to spend good days in Roma. Hotel is rather new, but built and decorated in Empire style (mainly) with a little bit 'too much' of gold - it alrealy looks more decoration than the real style. The only other 'contra' was their concierge push to call limousine service and not the ordinary taxi. On the other hand, the staff is extremely helpfull and kind in all means, the rooms are very good in their futures from the linen to tv system, comfortable arm-chair and bed.
“Splendide Off season hotel”
A splendid service where staff make you feel welcome and no effort is spared. If you want the Roccoco style and splendid atmosphere this is the one to select
“classic and elegant hotel”
very nice hotel,,ensha allah i will go back if i go to rome again
“Amazingly Beautiful Hotel”
The Splendide Royal is a wonderful example of combining both modern comforts and old world charm. The staff is wonderfully helpful, efficient, and kind. The rooms were spotless and the service while very attentive was never intrusive. The breakfast room and especially the restaurant on the top floor present an amazing view of the city and great culinary selections. The location of the Hotel was also great. While it is situated in close proximity to several of the main tourist attractions, because it is about two blocks away from the main street, it allows the hotel to remain peaceful enough that the commotion of the city is not disturbing.
“A wonderful hotel”
We had a deluxe room on the fifth floor overlooking the park. The room was beautiful with a large dressing area and huge bathroom. The towels were changed twice a day, linen everyday. Reception staff were knowledgeable and spoke perfect english. We could find no fault with the hotel and would certainly stay there again. Hotel is 10 minutes away from the spanish steps but be warned it is quite an uphill walk back to the hotel, especially after a days sightseeing. The Mirabelle resturant is a delightful experience with wonderful food and wine but VERY expensive.
“Great Hotel but expensive”
Hotel was great, great location, nice room , good service.
