Set in 9 acres of private parkland, in the heart of the Highlands, New Drumossie Hotel is only 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of Inverness and has free parking.
All bedrooms have a bathroom with a bath, a shower and a hairdryer. Decorated with warm colours, their facilities include tea/coffee, bathrobes and slippers.
At the hotel’s award-winning restaurant, the Grill Room, the finest meats, the freshest fish and vegetables go into preparing the meals. Breakfast is served every morning.

“beautiful hotel”
The staff at this hotel was exceptional. They were pleasant and helpful. The rooms were modern, clean and very comfortable. My only regret is that the hotel is not near the center of town.
“Great Hotel. Would Stay again.”
We really enjoyed the hotel. The room was big and comfortable. The bathroom was very nice. The welcome decanter of scotch was impressive. The included breakfast surpassed expectations....delicious and had a lot to offer.

The staff members were friendly, clean updated room, a little off the beaten track, recommend as a nice place to stay.
“Excellent Experience”
Lovely hotel. Room was clean, quiet, tastefully decorated and a very spacious bathroom. The breakfast was wonderful. Had a drink in the lobby area in the evening and the wait staff was very friendly and helpful. It wasn't one of those "charming" English hotels with character but a little rough around the edges. It had a newer feel to it. Great after a few dodgy B&B's. An excellent hotel.
“good experience”
my only quibble was that there was no area where I could have a drink and watch televesion. My wife wanted to watch a programme in the room and I wanted to watch a football match but there was no facility to enable me to do this. Other than that I have no complaints
“A little out of Inverness - lovely location and great place to stay”
Everyone at the hotel very helpful. Great location and the rooms are large and clean. Very nice stay and Inverness worth the visit.
“Beautiful restored 5 star hotel”
This is a magnificent old hotel that has been restored to its former 5 star excellence. Service is above reproach and is definitely on a par with its condition. We only spent one night here but regretted we had only allowed ourselves this short time in this area. This hotel is not to be missed. It is a 5+ hotel.
“Inexperienced Reception”
While this hotel was a good find, and a reasonable price for the UK, there were some things that really did not go as I expected. For example, when we checked in we were asked if we would like to have a newspaper delivered to our room in the morning. We said yes, and then were really surprised to be charged for it! Also, when we checked out, I asked for a copy of the our invoice and a receipt, and I was told "I'm sorry, we're not allowed to give you that". I was so shocked I didn't even know what to say. I asked again, thinking she had misunderstood me, and she again replied that she wasn't "allowed" to give me an invoice. I was quite irritated and explained that I found it impossible to believe that a hotel was unable to give me a receipt with my charges, and she just shrugged her shoulders and apologized. I had to log into my email account to pull up what our room rate had been, etc. Just to be sure. Quite bizarre! Other than that, the stay was good. Rooms were big for UK standards, and nicely decorated, with good size bathrooms. I would go back again, but would still really love an explanation for why I couldn't get a receipt!
“service is outstanding”
The staff at this hotel are wonderful. They are pleasant, efficient and made my stay a comfortable one. The accomodations are modern and have recently undergone renovations. The only thing I would change is the location. It is not as close to the center of town as I would have liked.
“Lovely welcome and service”
Very pleasant welcome and waiting staff particularly attentive (thank you, Richard). Receptionist was lovely to go out of her way to ensure I had a newspaper in the morning: thank you for that kindness. I ate alone in dining room one evening and my meal came far too quickly:I hardly had time to breathe deeply before second course arrived, which was a shame as I felt rushed and unwelcome. Toast at breakfast in my room was underdone and cold: why not wrap this in a napkin? At an extra £3 charge for in-room service, I would have thought attention would have been paid to such a detail. The bedroom was light and large with good coffee-making facilities. Bed linen crisp and clean and bed a little hard but fine. All in all, a very comfortable stay. Thank you all.
