"This is a great hotel that close to a ton of restaurants, the pier, and a short uber ride to The Getty Museum, and also Venice Beach. Ask the concierge or front desk which restaurants are best. We had a balcony with a view of the pier & the ocean. It was a little cool, so we didn't get to the pool. It looks cool weather permitting. Staff is awesome too! Super friendly, so stay here when in Santa Monica. "

"When we first got there, they gave us a room was that half of a joint room. Nothing like the photo on here. You walk into the room and there is a bed and walls. That’s it. My partner and I found it unacceptable considering the price we paid. So we went to the front desk to ask for an upgrade. The staff was awesome. They gave us a room on the 9th floor (no charge), the room looked exactly like the picture of the traditional king size room. Really happy at the end! "
