My stay at the Rihga was phenomenal! Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, very little noise, and conveniently located next to a bus stop.
Even though the nearest train station is a 10 minute walk away, I'd still highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants some quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of Shibuya/Shinjuku.
Excellent hotel for the price-point. Very nice rooms, elegant lobby, decent restaurants (if a bit expensive). A nice quiet area, nice for walking, and easy access to the hot-spots of Tokyo by metro or cab. Only complaint, with one or two exceptions, the staff at front desk speaks poor English and were not very helpful, even if they were polite.
The property is amazing. The rooms are very large and beautifully decorated. The location is quiet. The lunch buffet was amazing. I also really enjoyed the bar at the hotel
The staff there was amazing.
The issue I had was the fact that the lady who checked us in did not speak English. We had to rely on Google translate to communicate. For a four or five star hotel in Tokyo where you pay almost $400 a night there is absolutely no excuse for not having an English speaking receptionist at your check in counter. Not only did she not speak English but she was actually getting upset, frustrated or both when people tried to speak to her in English. This is simply unacceptable.
They said they have a free shuttle to the airport it’s not free they charged us it was fine but just a heads up that’s why we originally booked there to avoid the public transportation system with our bags. We were offered a free upgrade on floor 25 it was nice also allowed a later check out of 11am vs 10
