We enjoyed this unique property, great location in proximity to other attractions. Accommodating staff, clean room, patio etc. However there was no hot water for a shower or to wash dishes. Just a basic that shouldn’t be overlooked.

We got back to hotel after 10:30pm each night of our 3 night stay- had to park on street other side of Craiggdaroch castle, apart from this very pleasant stay, would refer and would come again

The check-in was poor. I had not received an email advising me of the details (it arrived after I had phoned the number on the door). However, Orla who was 'on reception' when we arrived was very pleasant and helpful. I thought the room dingy and run down and did not represent good value for money. Also the hot water was tepid at best for a shower at 0730. Overall I would not recommend this guest house

Really lovely property next to Historic Craigdarroch Castle and within walking distance to the beautiful gardens of the Government House. My room was on the top floor and was quiet and very clean. My only complaint was that the mattress and pillows could be upgraded. It was very convenient having communal kitchen facilities available for guest to use. I would definitely consider staying here again.
