"In summer very few dining options and property is definitely run down. No AC in rooms. It's definitely a winter only hotel. Staff tried their best and breakfast decent for short stays. Can get old if you don't eat pork like us. "

We had booked three days stay to go downhill skiing, but finally got one day of downhill skiing due to delayed train transportation from Barcelona to Ribes de Freser, and the next day in Vall de Nuria there were too windy so the lifts were closed. There was very few snow, so only couple of slopes were open. Also only one restaurant in the area was open during our stay. "
