"It is great spot for one nighter , driving down south . Really nice . Must have your own transportation. Beach full of plastic garbage but as we were leaving the nest day saw about 50 people picking up the garbage. So that was nice to see. "

"Huge modern hotel with large rooms for 680 baht. Strong WiFi (each room has its own router) and friendly staff. Wide choice for breakfast. As a vegetarian I was able to have toast, fried eggs and fresh fruit. Everything else had meat or meat products. Location is very central. Bear in mind the walls in the hotel are super thin. There was ‘adult activity’ going on next door day and night, and I could hear everything. Which wasn’t great."

The rooms are dated, served the purpose we needed it for as we wanted to sleep before travelling further. Food for someone in England I wouldn’t be able to eat. "When we arrived the old man at the desk had trouble finding our reservation. He did not speak any English, and my Thai is not very good. He called another woman who spoke a little bit of English and who helped him find our reservation. The hotel is older, but the room was clean enough. The beds were quite hard, and there was space between the doors, allowing mosquitos inside. The location is quite out of the way. If you don't have your own transportation, I don't recommend staying here. ...

"I love the fact that parking in beside the bungalow. We got two bungalows as traveling with family and pet in one car so it was nice to park the car between the two bungalows and have our door face each other. "The location of this hotel is ideal if wanting to travel to or from Chumphon train station (you can also book bus and boat tickets near the station), however, the hotel doesn't have much else going for it. It is a large, old fashioned, grubby hotel that looks like it hasn't been looked after since the 80's. The halls reminded us of the prison cells you see in the movies! The receptionist wasn't aware of our online booking and offered the room to us a lot cheaper before we told her we had...
