The breakfasts were good, the bedrooms spacious and comfortable and the bathrooms were well designed and nice to use. Parking is a bit of a problem but not impossible and this would not deter me from staying in Le Saint Erasme again. "

"Beautiful property staffed by helpful and friendly people! Our updated room was comfortable and quiet and had a lovely view from the balcony. Next door to a bakery for a light breakfast if you decide against the full breakfast. Very walkable to the train station and Calvi’s main attractions. The woman at the front desk was very helpful to us in arranging a taxi. Highly recommend!"

"These owners have obviously thought about what a traveller needs. All the basics like plugs and light switches next to both sides of the bed, space to put toiletries in the shower and a few hooks in the bathroom and the little fridge plus tea/coffee making stuff really made this a great stay. Besides the mosquitos, the patio off our room was a lovely surprise and a great spot for an drink as the sunset. "I came in December, which is their low season, so I was basically one of the very few people staying at the hotel. The receptionist was only around for the check-in. The cleaning staff only showed up once. The rest of the time, they expect you to call if you need help, which is not realistic for foreign travellers, especially if you are not fluent in French or Italian. The building is locked, so basic safety is not an issue. However, when the internet went out, I had no way to contact anyone...
