"To be honest this was the only hotel available at short notice. But it was clean and comfortable and good value for money. It was nice to be able to sit in the garden on a hot evening. It is a 15 minute walk to the big restaurants but it was quiet and the staff were friendly."

"First - I went to this property off-season. This review only pertains to off-season travel. Based on the Expedia add I expected a Viking themed experience. What I found was a regular motel. All of the "viking" amenities (in fact all amenities) are closed down off-season, even the front room with the viking-themed furniture and furs. "Appartment has all you need and big (Except no toaster. Linnen and towels are extra) main double bed was too soft. Negatives: the patio and sauna looked uninviting(old/dirty) so unfortunaly did not use it. The cottage was not cleaned well which was especially disappointing during corona times (pet cottage). The private beach is messy with dustbins overflowing- it is a steep hill to the beach but there are good stairs. There is no reception and the forest is very dense around all cottages so...

"Location is very good, right in front of the river, walking distance to shopping mall where there are many restaurants. Opposite the hotel there is an open space where they have various events. Car parking was very easy, right in front of the hotel with many spaces. We like the breakfast, although not as much variety as those offer by more expensive hotel. They have food cater for people with dietary constraint like gluten free, vegan etc."
