"Friendly, helpful and quick check in accommodating that I arrived a couple of hours earlier. Room has everything you need, well designed for storage, large shower, comfortable bed. I did not use the pool but others did. Nice courtyard to relax. A small bar and meals available for lunch or dinner. Delicious breakfast with lots of choices, omelette, pancakes, cereal, fresh fruit etc. Great service. I would recommend and return here again. "

Friendly welcome our only quibble was the serving staff at breakfast were a bit moody as they were trying to set up for lunch/dinner and we got the distinct impression they wanted us out. Also no decaffeinated on offer but plenty of choice otherwise. "

"We loved our stay of 2 nights at Casa Morgado Esporão. Joni and Ana were helpful and very nice. Communication with them was easy. The property is beautifully renovated and features two interior courtyards. Apartment was modern, comfortable and very clean. We only wish we would have know that the 2nd floor, which felt more like a 4th floor, had so many challenging stairs. The location was perfect we walked everywhere and enjoyed this charming and safe little town."

The room we were in had 2 TVs one worked fine the other said “weak signal” not a single channel. Above said TV there was a lamp that, die to some missing screws, was leaning agaist the TV set. "Incredible! Without a doubt this hotel was the most amazing place we stayed during our two months in Portugal and Spain. It is located 10-12 minutes from downtown Elvas and is located all alone out in the countryside. Very quiet if you don’t mind chickens, donkeys and sheep but absolutely zero city noise. Our price was one half to one third what we would have paid to stay in Elvas (€49/ night for two nights in the middle of the week including breakfast) and the room was quite large. It’s fun to...

"The staff was extremely helpful and polite. We had problems finding the parking garage but once we found it, it was very easy to get in and out. We did not have to pay for parking. The breakfast was fabulous. The home was an excellent shape and I would most definitely recommend to all of my friends."
