"Property was kept clean by hard working staff. Food was excellent at all venues. Staff was courteous and helpful. Beach was the highlight of our trip. Overall, we think this all inclusive resort is our best so far. The only question i have is why do we always have to ask beach staff to setup the needed loungers instead of having each palapas prepared in advance with 2 loungers. Wouldn't that serve the customers better? Unless you do it this way to solicit customers to give more tips. I noticed other properties are ready with chairs and loungers ahead of beach opening time."

"Plenty of restaurants at the resort and within walking distance. The pools were great, the ocean beautiful. The two times we had to call the front desk, our issue was handled fairly quick and satisfactorily."

"For the price we paid, the Holiday Inn was a great resort! Very clean, beautiful beach and courtyard area. Staff was excellent. Why do the pools close at 7pm? And they take away the lounge chairs and stack them by 7. This is a bit early! Some of us enjoy a late night swim and a break from the relentless sun after dark. We had an extreme noise issue one night due to a pre-wedding party held at the beach bar (we had requested a quiet location) - they brought us a little charcuterie tray the next day, so that was nice at least (my husband they had a cart full of them, lol). Overall, we enjoyed it immensely and would stay here again. It is also in a PERFECT location."

"the property is secluded, very clean and the staff so helpful and kind. Very beautiful people all around. The hotel room very clean, it was not what I was expecting as far as a hotel room, it was an apartment. Bathroom with double sink, so you have space for that significant other. A nice king size bed waking up to a view, a wrap around balcony from the bedroom to the living room. Kitchen and dinning room to to fill all your personal needs. A home away from home, you feel you belong here, you even have a dishwasher and laundry machine. What else do you need? The grounds have a beautiful infinity pool, laundry mat, gift shop, a market store on the property, spa and gym. Two great restaurants. The only down part was the beach with the frequent storms have been washing up some seaweed waste covering the beach but its just a phase mother nature. There is so many places to go and do. Or you can stay at the resort and be pampered. The staff really go out of their way to take care of their guests. I will miss my favorite Bartender Jeffery and his colorful tasty cocktails. Thank you."

"Had a great one week stay at the Barcelo. Clean rooms, pleasant staff for the most part. The location can’t be beat. Right on Palm beach and across from a vibrant shop and food area. The food at the resort was okay, do not expect gourmet offerings and you will not be disappointed. Will be back."
