Recommended 4 Star Hotels in Emeishan for 2026

It was an experience to walk up to the Golden Summit and I would highly recommend it. The walk up uses well-designed paths with gradual stairs. We took the cable car up and then walked for a little over 1 km to the Golden Summit Temple.

We arrived at a very rare clear moment where you could view out onto blue skies with clouds below, but it didn't take long for the fog to arrive and the world to completely dissappear around you. Actually made for a very cool moody environment so was quite happy to get to experience both.

Spacious, free water and snacks bedside, slippers and robes, plenty of hot water and an expansive breakfast buffet. The location is ideal - 5 minutes from the giant gold buddha hands, main square, elephants and fountain, and walking street lit by lanterns all of which are fun to explore and offer dining and shopping options. Definitely recommend."
