They only have one choice and asked 20$ for it and you really don’t have other options in the area. They let you pay also the water…the road to come is very bad also. I’d not stay again"

"Absolutely amazing stay at embogo lodges! Everything about this place is 10/10. It’s an underpriced gem in ishasha. It’s safe, the staff are all amazing and the food is outstanding. They also arranged us a game drive on the morning for a great price where we seen tree lions and elephants to name a few!"

"Hotel was nice enough but extremely hard to get to. It is the rainy season in Uganda and the dirt roads were tough. Also to get to the hotel you have to climb a lot of stairs so not for anyone who has mobility issues. Final note they had removed all mosquito nets we think a bit prematurely "

"We loved the lodge - beautiful setting, wonderful staff and good food. They upgraded us to a cabin upon arrival as cabin was available. The gorillas were amazing and starting point just up the road. The lodge is great value for the money in the Ugandan tourism world. You would pay much more to have the same quality accommodations and food in other places. If you have time to get here, this place not to be missed. "
