"Huge hotel-you might be waiting for a free elevator! We had a reunion the same weekend the hotel was hosting the FBLA… teenagers everywhere which wasn’t bad in itself, but the wait for elevators could get really long. Your room key only takes you to your room floor so maybe not the easiest situation for folks who are trying to catch up with each other and visit rooms. There was lots of seating in common areas so that was good. If you want to self park it’s a 5 minute walk away on the Truist parking deck. "

"Your room amenities will include a rock hard couch, a soggy ancient mattress where you can feel the springs against your back! Don't forget the cold showers. I thought the first cold shower was a fluke, but no, that's just how the Connally does things! Flickering lightbulbs, broken elevators, a sad continental breakfast, the Connally has it all. Situated in a perfectly seedy neighborhood where you can walk outside directly into an abandoned outdoor mall full of homeless folks! Enjoy your stay at the Connally! "

"The hotel is nice, but the staff really steals the show. They were incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly. We were traveling with our young baby and all of the staff lent a helping hand when we were entering and leaving the hotel. Note that the only on site parking is valet. We always got our cars very quickly and had no issue there. There was always someone there to help us load and unload our stuff as well. Highly recommend this beautiful hotel! "
