"I can’t say enough about our stay. The staff was AMAZING, friendly and on top of every little thing. Communication was smooth and easy via WhatsApp. There’s a small kitchenette that is perfect if you get tired of dining out at Port’s 10,000 restaurants. Walkable to so many attractions. Directly across from the open air market. "

"Fantastic reception staff who took the time to make us feel at home and couldn’t have been more helpful and informative. The cleaning regime was exceptional and the apartment was roomy, comfortable, well provisioned and private. Great quiet location only 10 mins from Bolhão market with a lovely garden and pool. Six-day stay in June

"We booked an executive twin room and were told on arrival that we had been upgraded from that room (which would have been on the 10th, 11th or 12th floor) to Room 1706 near the top of the hotel, with a fantastic view out over Porto to the Douro River and even a little piece of the Atlantic Ocean. The room was extremely quiet and very comfortable (although the pillows could use an upgrade). The internet connection was out our first night, so neither TV nor wifi worked, but we told the desk staff about it when we went out our first morning and it was fixed by the time we got back. Breakfast was very nice, served in a very large room, with lots of choices (including port and sparkling wine!) and specialty coffees available by order. The hotel is not centrally located, but metro stops are within walking distance and the metro is very easy to use, and taxis (inexpensive by US standards) easily got us to train stations for day trips and to the airport for departure."
