"We walked into our room and we're overwhelmed by the smell of cigarette smoke in a non-smoking room. The smoke detector is probably 20+ years old and yellowed from smoke. It wasn't working so it's disabled or dead which is definitely a fire code violation. We almost walked out right then and requested a different room, but decided to tough it out. It was hot in the room so we went through turn on the AC and the filter was ABSOLUTELY CAKED in dust and nastiness and smelled TERRIBLE. I luckily brought long pants and a long sleeve hooded shirt so I was able to protect myself from touching the bedding. Figured I would wash it off in the shower in the morning... Woke up with my allergies on fire. Went to take a shower and there was a wet dirty rag in there. The drain doesn't work, and a bunch of nasty stuff backed up into the tub. Even through that I was just going to deal with it, but the shower was either piping hot or totally cold, no in between. So I surrended and gave up. We should have spent more money somewhere else, but honestly you would be better off sleeping in your car than spending a dime here. Once we left and got out of the car and back in we could smell the smell of the room! Extremely unfortunate since I was going to see my Granny for her birthday, NOT the smell I wanted to bring to a retirement home! I'd leave 0 stars if I could! We've filed an official complaint. That place is unreal!"

"The property needs to be cleaned thoroughly. The walls and doors were dirty, there were cracks in the ceiling from water damage that had not been repaired, and some of the bedding was stained. Will not stay there again."

"Dump. I might as well have slept in an ash tray. The odor in the bedroom was extremely overwhelming. Bathroom maintenance must have been performed by a 6 year old. I gave it a 1 star because zero stars was not an option."

"Older hotel family owned very small lobby. Very limited breakfast options. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was clean some of the furniture was outdated and stained. Air conditioner worked great. Bed was comfortable. This hotel cost was less than other hotels in the area You get what you pay for."

"I showed up at 8PM and found the door locked and nobody here. I contacted hotels.com and they got ahold of the property staff who told that they had no rooms despite my reservation. I was then forced to make a last minute reservation at a hotel over 30 minutes away. I would not recommend this hotel to any travelers."
