An outstanding motel in Hoqiuam! The owners are absolutely wonderful and had excellent suggestions for nearby restaurants and activities. They were so so helpful. We stayed here after exploring Olympic before heading to Mount Rainier. We highly recommend Shiny motel!!

Cute little place for our quick overnight stop. The lady who is the owner was extremely welcoming, kind and friendly. She gave us lots of ideas on best places to eat. She ensured we had everything we needed for the night. Check in was easy and smooth as was the check out. Only downside was no AC that we could find so it got a little stuffy. The beds were clean and comfortable as well as the pillows. Quick access to several beaches in the area. We would definitely stay here again if we come out this way.

This stay was great and nostalgic. The owner was kind and gracious to show us to our room and walk us thru some things. She greeted us when we checked in and on the way out. Definitely a stay to stop at for a night or more.

This Vintage motel is a shining star is Hoquium. The rooms are tidy and the staff is so wonderful. They give a warm, friendly welcome and are available and ready to answer questions. Book a room and see what I mean.

It’s a modest motel, but it has a character, in big part due to its wonderful hostess. On a modest budget, it is a very well run family type motel, where you are treated as a long awaited cousin…it can benefit from some updating, but it is very clean, with comfortable beds and traditional yet clean bathroom, place. It’s a hard-to-find gateway to Olympic NP overnight stay, in a town that had a brighter past due to logging and fishing (some old buildings are amazing!), but living modestly now, they are really trying! I would decently stay there again.

The couple who own the place are so warm and friendly. We couldn't ask for a nicer welcome. The room was smaller, but had everything we needed. The beds are memory foam mattresses and are amazing!

Quaint, warm hospitality and charm. Independently owned and operated! Very little road noise despite being on a main thoroughfare just outside of town. GREAT location for day trips on the westside of Olympic Peninsula. 100% recommend this gem.
