"The access is made through a side door entrance. A grey looking corridor leads you to 1st floor flat. Great entrance with comfy corner chair facing a shoe rack. Living room and main bedroom overlook the main square of Aberfeldy. Very pittoresque. Kitchen and Bathroom had showroom effect, clean, functional and practical. "The accommodation was ok needs some maintenance on sealant round toilet unit and sink unit but no biggy. Comfortable and good value for money. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The cooked breakfast had elements that were dried out black pudding/haggis and tomatoes the potato scones had been deep fried and were very greasy. Other items were freshly cooked, pancakes. I would go back but go self catering"

"The Abbotsford was a lovely place to stay while spending the weekend in Callander. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was affordable and delicious, and the location was quiet. Only real complaint was that the door to our room would bang when the windows were open even a little amount. Easily remedied by putting a towel or extra blanket on the floor at the base of the door. We would definitely stay here again."

"This is how all hotels should be, the best example of hospitality I have experienced for a long time. All staff were friendly and approachable with nothing too much trouble. It was an absolute delight to come down in the mornings to a great breakfast served by smiling attentive staff. I stayed for three nights in room sixteen and only wish I could have stayed longer. When time allows I would love to return and would, without a doubt, recommend Aberfeldy Townhouse to others."

"Staff was not friendly and offered no explanations regarding breakfast or which rooms on the main floor were open for guest use. Since it is INCREDIBLY difficult to get to and there’s no towns nearby, we had no options but to eat dinner there. The food was good but this definitely brought up our overall costs. Our stay was okay but given that it was by far our most expensive stay of our Scotland trip, I can’t say I’d recommend it. P "
