Extremely disappointing stay. The property did not honor the reservation. Did not provide a shuttle pickup from the airport. Neither I nor Expedia could get in touch with the property via email or phone. The property and room is in disrepair. Electronic lock on the door did not work, outlets, and lights were not functioning. No running water at times during my stay.

The facility needs to close down. I had to get out in the middle of the night to move my family to a different hotel. Came back the next day to checkout and move the rest of belongings.

Very busy property for locals. Unfortunately for visitors, the public areas get noisy. Menu for restaurant and room service is very limited. The hotel staff are helpful and try their best to assist. This hotel needs some renovating and modernizing. The floor I was staying on smelled of smoke.

The room was being cleaned however there were days when the trash would not be taken out. The toilet was not being cleaned; Even when asked it was not done. The hotel charged more than the price which was shown on expedia. This is extortion and was unfair to me. I would not book this hotel again!

There was a language barrier, the air conditioning did not work. Carpet was dirty, toilet did not have any seat, floor in the bathroom wet anytime use the shower or apparently when flushing the toilet. Smelled of smoke even though it was non smoking. Reservations were not accurate. Staff were not friendly.

Golf Hotel was a reference back then. It’s unfortunate the hotel is degrading. Hope a new management takes over to give it back its glamorous touch. For the price it’s just okay.

Property need a serious renovation, bath tub need to renovated, client should get one queen or king side bed and not two bed put side to side. Carpet in the hallway needs to be replaced and food and drinks are really overpriced

Sense of adventure in an abandoned property. A poorly motivated staff. One told me they are on they 10th month without salary!!! I had to beg him to clean my refrigerator and remove accumulated dust in my bedroom so I could sleep. Restaurant with pancakes as the favorite menu !!!! No wonder why all the youth from the neighborhood come there to eat! I understand the hotel is undergoing a complete renovation. It is a good idea to close the facility while this is going on . The potential is huge and it could well deserve a 5 Stars hotel after a COMPLETE RENOVATION

The hotel was nice, clean and with a magnificent pool. Staff was nice and always smiling. On the things to improve: - we had asked for shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. When we arrived, the shuttle service had left and we had to take a cab. - on our last night the cleaning staff left only one large towel for showering - the room was booked for two persons. - water bottle was placed only for the first night. - the prices on the menu (terrace) are not the correct ones depending where you order... If you order in the bar the price is slightly higher but this is not mentioned in the menu nor by the staff. - on our last night there was a party in the garden, just outside our room window. Music was loud and the party went up to past 2am. We were unable to sleep. The hotel should have placed us on the other wing of the hotel for us not be disturbed by the loud music. This last comment goes to Expedia. We booked through their webpage confident that we were getting the best available price. When we arrived to the hotel, we noticed that the hotel had a better rate. It was less than our rate and it included buffet breakfast for two, which was not included in the rate we had from Expedia. I try to cancel the reservation and get a new one with the hotel but the hotel said that it was no longer possible, that Expedia had already charged them. Lesson learned: check first with the hotel before booking with Expedia, you might get a better rate with the hotel.

To be avoided at all costs
The worst! Only very long two nights stay. Grand hotel that did not age well. On the first night the room was infested with mosquitoes (it turns out the balcony door did not close properly). On the second night the card key did not work (it took three extremely long Unfruitful attempts). On the day of the checkout, the Hotel administration did not recognise the receipt payment made via hotels.com. They charged an extra amount without a rational explanation (40 minutes wasted yet again).

So-so
I stayed for 4 weeks on a business trip, the power went out for 8+ hours at least 3 times (which included no running water during that time). On two occasions, the water itself went out for several hours (although, there was power). The hotel is a little outdated, visible mold growing on and around the hotel. There are no restaurants or grocery stores within 2km of the hotel, so hotel food only unless you take a taxi across the bridge. If you play golf, the hotel is conveniently across the street from the course. Some friendly staff, and is right on the water.

One week stay in a hotel that got older than expected because of its stinking carpet and the difficult access to hot water in the bathroom: at least 15 minutes before getting a lukewarm water for a shower! Service is below all standards: one hanger only in the room seems to be the standard and you have to request extra ones... Service at breakfast is same: you have to ask for tea and wait for the kettle to boil the water. No mercy when you ask for a late check out. In summary a disappointing stay: I will no longer advise anybody to come to this hotel

Could not get WiFi to work at all in the room. I had the staff change me to a different room closer to the lobby and it still wouldn’t work. Could only use internet if I went to the lobby. Pool area is nice but the rest of the hotel is old and outdated.

This would be a beautiful hotel if the management were able to upgrade as showers are rubbish, water quality bad, service not great & quality of food not good. This hotel needs a change in management as the current team are just not in the races. Currently I would not pay 50 euros to stay there.

I actually like the food and cocktails here, though the restaurant is not my style. The rooms are comfortable, just a little old. My one issue is that, when checking out, I paid for my bill using a credit card. After the credit card had been processed using the machine, they then tried to type my credit card details into my profile in their computer system so they could store the full number, expiration date, security code, etc. My card details have been stolen too many times when used without the chip & PIN, so I refused to let them copy the details, and this led to lots of shouting at me by management before I finally hopped in a cab and moved on with my life.

Dated, but incredible service.
The service was impeccable. The wanted to help at every turn and we’re willing to go above and beyond what was necessary to accommodate. The property is a bit dated, however, Yappi (one of the managers) even decidedly became our tour guide and showed us the city when our actual guide plans fell through.

The hotel is old and run down and in serious need of a revamp. The restaurant was very pleasant but that does not make up for the rest. Best to avoid completely.

Terrible hotel with horrible service.
Hotel is definetly not a 4 star. The service was the worst ive seen in years. Rooms are very old and sub-standard. You have much better hotels in Abidjan for less price.

Un hôtel qui pourri par la tête
Hotel appartenant à l'Etat totalement laissé à l'abandon par son exploitant privé. Faute d'entretien sur les centaines de chambres théoriques de l'hotel seules une dizaine sont encore opérationnelles, les autres sont souvent condamnées ouvertes aux 4 vents. Longues périodes sans électricité, eau, WIFI. Je ne pouvais même plus rentré dans ma chambre. L’hôtel ayant de grosse dettes vis à vis de l'entreprise nationale d'électricité, il tourne (quand il tourne) uniquement sur générateur diesel, pas terrible pour le bilan carbone, ni pour les finances de l’hôtel. Du coup les employés ne sont pas payés et ne sont pas très engagés dans leurs mission (exemple: Cafard apparent dans le présentoir des fruits du petit déjeuner que personne ne prend le temps de nettoyer...) . Le seul intérêt restant à cet hôtel est sa piscine et son cadre proche de la nature. Sauf que personnes ne nettoie la nature environnante et que les déchets jonche la "plage" lagunaire. Cela fait mal au coeur de voir un site avec un tel potentiel pourrir sur patte....

Le contexte général hors de la ville, en bordure de lagune est bien mais seulement pour regarder de loin, car lagune n'est pas balnéaire. Pour le reste C'EST HORRIBLE. Très sale, aucune manutention depuis des années facilement visible dès la reception et cela se poursuit aux ascenseurs dont le seul qui fonctionne est dégoûtant. Le couloir qui mene aux chambre manque d'illumination digne d'un hotel 4 étoiles, la moquette est très sale et pue, de grosses tâches sont visibles partout, sur les mures, les portes, le plafond qui présente des tâches d'infiltration et moisissures. C'est incroyable qu"une icône del l'hôtellerie Abidjan comme le golf hotel soit réduit à niveau. J'avais réservé une chambre supérieure mais ils m'ont donné une standard très sale, avec des toiles d'araignée autour du lit et des abajours. J'avais le frigobar, très bruillant posé directement mais pas fixé, sur un vieux meuble au chevet du lit, et donc chaque foi que je l'ouvrais il risquait de tomber. Le wifi de lhotel ne fonctionne pas dans les chambres, j'ai me pleindre pour le obliger à installer un post wifi dans la chambre. Si vous allez sur site internet vous verrez qu'il n'y à pas d'images de la sale de bain, c'est fait exprès car elle est indigne d'être nommée ou considérée comme telle. Une seule petite serviette blanche mais presque jaunie. Lavabo vieux sale et souillé, absence de sèche cheveux. Le petit bacon est invivable car il est occupé par le moteur de la climatisation, très bruillant.
