Cozy guesthouse with friendly service

The guesthouse was very cozy and offered good activities. My niece was really very happy driving the snowmobile and seeing northern light on the lake.

Great people who work there. Its was clean enough. The thing that was a bit problematic was the room that was really small without a window. Good location. 2’ from the super market and 30’ by foot to the SFT.

Thank you for a great stay!

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic stay at Abisko guesthouse. The place has all you need and the staff is very helpful. We wondered a bit why there was no sorting of waste, and its difficult to figure out who is in charge of the different activities. The surroundings are incredible and perfect for chasing northern lights on the nearby frozen lake. During our stay they weren't visible from the window. Thank again for a great experience, we wouldn't hesitate for a second to come back.

Very good room and location. Nice staffs

The location is great. It's near the train station, supermarket and walkable to the lake. The Aurora sky station is 2 km from the guesthouse. Apartment room is simple, no frill but fully equipped with kitchen, living area and 1 bedroom. There is a common area with kitchen, washing machine as well. There is a lot of activities which arrange by the guesthouse. We chose Aurora BBQ. It's lovely BBQ dinner in Sami's hut behind the guesthouse. Once we finished we chased aurora together and found it. Staffs are lovely, kind and helpful.

Poor value - a basic hostel at 4* hotel prices

The write-up on hotels.com did not make it clear that my double room was in an “apartment” which shared facilities (one toilet and one shower) with 2 other rooms. For the price I paid (£188 for a single night) I had expected significantly more. The bed was not a double bed - it was two singles pushed together with separate mattress pads (which didn’t meet) and single bedspreads. You were also expected to make your own bed. I don’t mind roughing it, but for that kind of price and for it not to have been made clear that the facilities were shared, this is not acceptable.

It is what it is, a room with a bed and access to kitchen/bathroom shower. It was quiet, checkin was easy and could check in early. No towel. Pillows were, well, cushions. But for a night in rural Sweden it was fine and close to the supermarket and train station.

Praktiskt med liten köksdel - liten ugn, kyl och frys, sÄ att man kan tillaga, vÀrma egen mat. Ingen restaurang i nÀrliggande till sjÀlva boendet, men det finns ett stÀlle lite lÀngre bort dÀr man kan köpa frukost, lunch, middag. DÄlig sÀng/madrass och dÄliga kuddar - dÀr behövs det verkligen investeras nytt och med bra konfort. Och personalen bör se över sÄ det finns frÀsha handdukar - i vÄrat rum var tvÄ handdukar flÀckiga var av en av de kan det kanske vara mögel, det var svart flÀck. StÀdnigen var okej.

Sejournee pour une nuit, en Mars, en arrivant via le train de nuit de Stockholm. La posizione e’ ottima, le escursioni partono propio da lĂŹ. Supermercato raggiungibile a piedi. Grande parcheggio. ho dato poche stelle alla pulizia solo perchĂ© ho trovato dei capelli tra le lenzuola/copripiumino. Ci sono 2 cucine ben attrezzate, puoi farti la spesa e riporre in frigo le tue cose perchĂ© ogni camera ha il suo spazio contrassegnato. Come da buona tradizione nordica, Si devono lasciare le scarpe all’ingresso perciĂČ portatevi le Ciabatte.

Okej stĂ€lle att bo pĂ„. Köket funkade bra förutom att det var saker kvarlĂ€mnat pĂ„ hyllan som tillhörde rummet nĂ€r jag kom. Synd att det inte finns nĂ„gon kĂ€llsortering alls
 Rent och fint pĂ„ rummet (som Ă€r rĂ€tt litet om man skulle bo tre i det men tvĂ„ gĂ„r bra) men inte sĂ„ sĂ€rskilt rent pĂ„ badrum/toalett. Mycket bra lĂ€ge nĂ€ra station och affĂ€ren!

Weekend de rĂȘve sous les aurores

Super expĂ©rience ! Si l'arrivĂ©e se fait en dehors des ouvertures de l'accueil, il Ă©tait possible de rĂ©cupĂ©rer les clĂ©s dans un boĂźtier Ă  code. Nos deux nuits se sont bien passĂ©es, le logement est propre, les parties communes entretenues (cela dĂ©pend Ă©videmment des personnes qui sĂ©journent en mĂȘme temps que vous). Les activitĂ©s proposĂ©es sont variĂ©es (aurora tour, sauna, motor ski...) et permettent de profiter des richesses naturelles d'Abisko et du parc naturel. Le check-out Ă©tait trĂšs bien pensĂ© : mĂȘme si nous devions avoir quitter la chambre Ă  11h, il restait possible d'accĂ©der aux parties communes et de stocker nos valises Ă  l'abri. Je recommande !

Die Unterkunft liegt in der NĂ€he des Bahnhofs und ist gut ausgeschildert. Das Personal ist nett und wir haben fĂŒr den Abfahrtstag noch eine KĂŒche und Toiletten Karte erhalten, da wir erst abends abgereist sind. Etwas mehr Besteck fĂŒr die KĂŒche wĂ€re schön.

Peu d’option dans le coin

Peu de chambres avec fenĂȘtre dans cet hĂ©bergement donc ces chambres coĂ»tent chĂšres. Chambre 1 avec fenĂȘtre mais situĂ©e Ă  l’entrĂ©e donc on entend toutes les entrĂ©es/sorties. Literie convenable. Sanitaires partagĂ©s, soit piĂšce avec toilette et douche, soit uniquement douche ou uniquement toilette. Machine Ă  laver et sĂšche linge disponible (100 SEK) uniquement entre 10h et 17h. 2 cuisines partagĂ©es (une Ă  l’entrĂ©e, une vers les derniĂšres chambres) ; Ă©quipements pour cuisiner, frigo partagĂ© ; uniquement 3 tables de 4 dans la premiĂšre partie, plus de tables dans la 2nde partie. Peu de rando/activitĂ© Ă  partir d’Abisko Östra, il faut marcher jusqu’à Abisko Touriststation (40 min Ă  pieds) sinon payer une navette. Peu d’autre option dans le coin

Séjour bref (1 nuit), mais hébergement trÚs facile d'accÚs. Personnel serviable. Mais nous étions prÚs de l'entrée, en bas, et c'était trÚs bruyant. Les gens font énormément de bruit, et les odeurs de cuisine juste à cÎté n'étaient pas trÚs agréable.
