"Most beautiful views. Friendly, helpful, attentive staff. Excellent food choices and buffet. Free breakfast every morning was a big plus to start our day. Highly recommend."

"This was our first stay at Douro Palace and as we arrived and parked up we were amazed with location and appearance of the site.
We were really pleased with the welcome we received and then when we arrived at our room, which we had booked with a river view, were amazed with the view - we’d really recommend a river view room.
We enjoyed the outdoor pool that was available 24 hours with a bar open in the daytime.
We ate both nights we stayed at the restaurant which had really good portion sizes and the food quality was impeccable. The breakfast had a really good selection too and was all of very high quality.
We’ll be sure to recommend Douro Palace to anyone we know is visiting the area!
We did realise it’s a bit of a drive for the main, well known, wineries and boat trips but the quality of the hotel made that a ‘not problem’!"

"It is my second time staying at this property while working remote. It is a great coworking property. All the staff are very nice. The coworking space is great. I will definitely stay here again when back in Porto."

"Stayed here for two nights in a standard room with 3 twin beds. The room was bright, clean and pretty spacious. However, there was no available kettle and coffee/tea and you had to request for them at no charge. Breakfast was worth paying for with a substantial spread, although it could do better with faster top ups.
What I loved best about this hotel was the location. It's next to Alamada shopping mall, which had good shopping options. It's also within walking distance to the Estádio do Dragão metro station, 3-4 stops away from the city centre. I would rather take the metro to the city centre than drive there. Those driving can also park in front of the hotel for free, but there are limited lots available. "

5/5 Excellent
Excellent excellent excellent
"What an amazing place! The hotel were in contact before arrival to let us know about the event they were putting on which was a nice touch.
On arrival we were made to feel welcome by the team, the room, facilities, food are all first class.
The service on the bar from Gabriella and Igors was another level, attentive, knowledgable and hard working they both made the visit extra special!
The food and service in the restaurant was some of the best we’ve ever had.
What a place, what a team!
Only problem we have is… all other hotels we visit will be judged against this hotel i is THE standard for first class! "
