The rest is worth the price
So the time limited aspect is a downside. Our flight meant that we checked in at approx. 2am and checkout was 08.00 at latest, but the much needed rest was priceless. Service was pleasant. For fellow people with tiny bladders, you have to walk approx. 3 minutes to use the airport toilets.

A decent 7 hour sleep inside the airport.
The site said that the reception is only open till 3pm which was incorrect info and resulted me making an International call to U.A.E. to let them know that I will be check-in around 11:30pm and need special facility to do that. The correct info is that the check-in is open 24 hours, just let them know your approx arrival time.

The bathroom was downstairs and like a 5-10 minute walk. The shower was a 15 minute walk! I didn't even bother taking one. It's okay if there are detached facilities but they should be closer to the rooms. Not worth the 50USD I paid for the night. I'll pay a little more for a better place than this next time.

This hotel booking was misleading as it does not clearly states the overnight booking is just for maximum of 6 hours. However when you check in between )9 AM to 3PM) for day use, it does say for 6 hours max.

I'd most definitely avoid it in future. It was just a BOX to sleep in. The so called room didn't even have tissue box in it. I had to walk around 200-300m to use a toilet as there's no toilet in or near the room. I could hear the person in the next BOX scratching. It should've been a quarter of the price for what they provide you. I've traveled through many different airports (including the under developed countries) but this was my worst experience. Staff didn't even bother to give me a wake up call (which I requested at check in). Luckily I had my own alarm set. If you book it, be prepared for disappointment.

No where in the write up, did it say: no toilet or wash basin in the room. The closest toilet, was a 8 minute walk, in the transit area of the departure area. The room was so small we couldn't stand our suit case up right: bunk beds, and maybe 3 feet wide. All this should be explained for future travelers.

Convenient but Lacking
Convenient location inside Terminal 3 at Abu Dhabi Airport, but lacking in amenities. Friendly check-in service. No private bathroom. Bright exit light remains illuminated all night in room, requiring use of eye shades to sleep. Noisy with thin doors. Walk-up rates significantly cheaper than booking ahead of time on hotels.com. Sufficient for a quick night's rest on a short layover when leaving the airport doesn't make sense, but do not expect the best sleep quality.

To be certain, this is more of a “sleep pod” than a hotel room. Tiny space with a bunk bed and desk lamp, no bathroom (have to take the escalator into the terminal to a packed bathroom and brush your teeth in the sink there, no showers etc.) Perhaps my least favorite part was the bright “exit” sign that lit up the entire room all night and could not be turned off, leaving the top bunk bathed in a white light. Overall a poor night of sleep and not worth the $120 USD per night

Impossible to find
This hotel is impossible to find!! It took me 2 hours to find it and there are no signs or anything to indicate its location. It's not even on the airport directory. For the other 2 locations, the are signs directing you to the location, but not for this one. The room is clean. The walls are thin so I recommend using earplugs. There is no bathroom or shower. The room only had a bed and small nightstand.

Although it is a convenient place for long layovers to sleep horizontally it cannot be called a hotel. First of all, airport staff didn't know what or where Aerotel was- it wasn't even listed on directory of the Terminal 3. It goes under Sleeping Lounge name. It's literally a closet with a bed inside and nothing else. No chair, not even a hook on the wall to hang your things. The emergency exit sign above the door was extremely bright so was impossible to sleep. There was a complementary bottle of water at least. There was no bathroom next to the "hotel "- you have to go down the escalator and past several shopping outlets to get to the nearest. Public showers were even farther. The walls and door were thin enough to hear everything from other closet-rooms. If you are in an unfortunate 10-hour layover situation overnight in Abu Dhabi then this overpriced Aerotel is still better than spending the night in an uncomfortable chair.

Ok for transit but beware, no bathrooms nearby
My wife and I stayed here from 10pm-8am while in transit. We found the hotel hard to find because the only signposts were for the ‘real’ hotel in Terminal 1. We knew there were shared bathrooms so expected there to be one bathroom for say 2 rooms. We got a bit if a shock to find out the ‘hotel’ (really just a collection of little rooms off a series of corridors) didn’t have one single bathroom and guests were expected to use the bathrooms on the floor below, which meant going down an escalator and walking about 50 metres past shops and cafes! Luckily we didn’t feel the call of nature during the night when we were pajama-clad! The room was tiny, as expected, but it was clean and the beds, pillows and duvet were comfortable. I would recommend bringing an eye mask though because there was an exit light above the door that stayed in all night and was very bright. They provide 2 bottles of water and USB charging point.

Abu Dhabi Aerotel in T3 Departures
1. Very small room, 7 ft by 6 ft. Highly claustrophobic. Immediately upon seeing the size of the room, I asked to check out BUT was told that they will not return my money. They said it was my mistake as the room details were available on the internet. Very bad experience. Do not go there. 2. No toilet or shower in the room. Nearest public restroom was 200 meters away.
