"I couldn’t falter my stay at Terra Rossa. A small residence set among beautiful gardens with great views. We had a studio overlooking the Isola Bella Island. The patio is perfect sized for an evening unwind. The studio provides everything you need and is cool.
The pool area is never too busy. Staff are friendly and helpful. "

"Lovely location to get the train to and from. Walking distance to a lot of nice bars and restaurants. The host was lovely and very helpful. You can use the washing machine which was helpful for we travelled hand luggage only. Apartment was large and had everything you needed, even a friendly cat that would visit the garden! Lovely beach to chill on. "

"The views are amazing and it is easy to get the bus up to the main centre. Nice easy walk back in the evening once the sun was down. Rudi was very helpful. They just need a few more sunbeds around the pool.
The food in Taormina is some of the best we have had in Italy, and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from in the centre "

"We had a deeply disappointing experience at Zen Escape. Despite booking a Family Suite with 2 queen beds, we were given a smaller Deluxe Suite with only 1 bed and an unprepared sofa. "The view was beautiful, property was also super pretty. Had a slight acidic smell in the bedroom but was very clean and comfy. Bidet wasnt great, bathroom was in good condition aside from that. Feng shue in the bedroom was impeccable, slept lile an absolute log every night and woke up to the sounds of waves and the best view possible. A little hard to get to from Taormina (I'd recommend the bus, not the cable car or the path google maps suggests which is no longer safe) and the road from Isola...

"This past visit July 2025 will mark our third consecutive summer stay at this gem of a hotel. We continue to enjoy the spacious accommodations and friendly staff. Like a sightly faded beauty, this 50 something year old hotel certainly can use an update , and we have been advised that is in progress. However you cannot beat the spaciousness and slightly faded grandeur of this beautiful property. The hotel is situated on what I believe to be one the ‘most’ gorgeous and picturesque of the entire Taormina area. The private grotto beach and pool areas are spectacular as is the view of Mount Etna from the buffet breakfast terrace. "

"Unusal, quirky decor but a great hotel! Staff friendly and helpful, very clean, beds incredibly comfortable and a brilliant pool area.
Breakfast quite basic (extra charge for fried eggs or omelette) and restaurant pricey as often is the case in hotels.
Not central to Catania but lovely to be away from the craziness so you can relax. Good bus options to the town, or further up the coast. "

"Great location with several dining options. Quick drive to Taormina or Naxos beach. Beach is a little too rocky for small children but we anticipated that. Hotel staff were very helpful and parking is monitored just a down the street. "

"Our experience could not have been better. We are three American Senior women and the hotel went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. All the staff was excellent, especially Giacomo at the front counter who gave us explicit instructions and directions and also Antonio the bar manager who went out of his way to make our experience extra special, even telling us about the special Prosecco."
