"The breakfast was good. Food was fresh and a nice selection. I got unlucky enough to have a bad room. I feel like my situation was isolated so don't let my experience stop you from staying here. My biggest complaint was the way the young man at the desk handled it. Issues arise and that is to be expected. My TV didn't work, phone didn't work, and sink didn't drain. I went down to breakfast and reported the issues to the young man at the front desk, and he simply said, "I'll notify maintenance". I went back to the room and played on my cell phone until it was time for me to leave (3 hours after breakfast). I spoke to the Lady Manager on duty on my way to my car, and told her that I sat in my room for 3 hours and Maintenance still hadn't been there. Turns out, the young man didn't do a thing! The Manager was very nice, apologized for the inconvenience and would take care of the issues with the room. It is because of the way she handled the situation that I gave the 4 stars and not 3 stars. "

"It was great for the price. It was clean and comfortable with easy check in and check out. It had a nice location outside the busy part of town, but also not far from good breakfast restaurants and bars."

"We stayed on Tuesday night so restaurant and bar were closed. For us that made it perfect because it was so peaceful and quiet during our stay. I don’t know how much noise that Pine rooms would have with restaurant open but our experience was lovely. Beautiful grounds and we enjoyed our grab n go breakfast very much. It was the peace and quiet that we didn’t realize we needed."

"I had 7 rooms booked for my touring band. We checked in late (after 11pm) after our show near Pittsburgh. Debbie, behind the desk for the night shift, was awesome, friendly, and helpful, when checking us in late in the evening. She was also quite sociable (and funny) while a few of us hung out in the lobby, late night. The rooms were fine. Clean and comfortable. In the morning, my phone started blowing up with texts from my band members saying there was no hot water. Several members called the front desk but there was no answer. When we met in the lobby to check out, we were told there was a power outage and that the heater takes time to get going. I understand things happen, but the 2nd most important purpose of a hotel stay is getting a decent shower before you leave and that didn't happen. "
