Schönes und sauberes Zimmer (wir hatten Standard Zimmer gebucht) und sehr schöne Anlage, sehr netter Empfang, reichhaltiges, gutes Frühstück, sehr gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Das Dinner (beide Auswahlen) war für unsern Geschmack nicht so gut.

Simpelthen bare et fantastisk sted. Super service, rent, lækkert og smukt. Tæt på elefantparken, hvor hotellet også har ture.

We stayed for one night and was taken super good care of the crew working here. Place is very clean and tidy. Food great and service level fantastic. Did the morning safari tour with them which also was great. If you goin to addo park, you come to the right place :)

Nach langer Suche im Internet haben wir uns für diese Guestfarm entschieden. Sie hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen: - sehr freundliches Personal, das auf alle Wünsche gern eingeht - reichhaltiges Frühstück - alles sehr sauber, Pool zwar klein (nicht zum langen Schwimmen) aber herrlich für eine Abkühlung - Lunch und Dinner auf Anfrage erhältlich und sehr schmackhaft - absolut ruhige Lage, dicht am Addo Nationalpark (Safaritour wird angeboten und ist sehr empfehlenswert, Danke Igna) - viel Natur, aber trotzdem wenig Insekten (Räume absolut tierfrei) Wer ein nettes,familiäres Ambente sucht, ist hier gut aufgehoben.

Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Addo Elephant Nationalpark und Schotia Private Game Reserve; Game Drives können über De Old Drift direkt gebucht werden. Nette kl. Häuschen als Zimmer, schöner Gartenanlage und leckeres Essen.

Room was beautiful, bed was great along with all the help. Breakfast and Dinner were wonderful and romantic. Safari with Igna was informative and fun - saw lots of animals. Met very nice people which made our stay more memorable !! Pool was delightful.

Drift off at De Old Drift

We booked this place online as somewhere to base ourselves to explore Addo and surrounding area and the pictures don’t do it justice. From the moment we drove up the lemon grove drive I knew I’d made a good choice. An oasis of calm after a hectic drive down the garden route, two ponds frame your entrance whilst weaver bird nests hang from surrounding trees. A beautiful setting near the Sundays River where the reception and restaurant look out to the welcoming swimming pool. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. My small family and I all felt our stay there was particularly special.

Hidden Gem!

Arrived late in the evening and was greeted by a very warm welcome by the lady at the reception. Really appreciated how they make arrangements for us to have dinner too. Great place and strongly recommended. Breakfast and dinner were both wonderful.

Die gesamte Anlage und die einzelnen Zimmer haben die Erwartungen weit übertroffen. Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln. Zum Addo Elephant Park ist es nur ein Katzensprung (20 Minuten mit dem Auto). Eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung !

Kleinod in Reichweite des Addo Naturreservates

Etwas abseits der Mainroad und deshalb angenehm ruhig. Überschaubare Größe und deshalb absolut keine Hektik. Sehr schöne, gut ausgestattete Bungalows mit kleiner Veranda. Hervorragendes Frühstück und auch tolle Angebote zum Dinner. Service war zu jeder Zeit sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Fahrzeit bis Addo ca. 20 Minuten.

Elegante, gepflegte Anlage mit schönem Garten

Sehr ruhig gelegen. Sehr schönes Badezimmer, ganz neu. Sehr freundliches Personal. Schade, dass sich die Besitzer nie blicken lassen haben, sondern alles an die Angestellten delegiert haben. Im Essraum war es sehr warm (kein Deckenventilator, keine Klimaanlage).

Difficult to improve on this place

De Old Drift Guest Farm is a wonderful place to stay. We stayed for three nights in a self catering unit but ate at the restaurant as well. The food wasv excellent. It is about 25 minutes drive to Addo National Park. We took a game drive with Lindo in the farms safari vehicle. Very informative and worthwhile. One h Night we went on one of the parks night drives. We got within 30 feet of two male lions amazing There are other restaurants locally if you want a change of scene. We went to Addo Wildlife which was great, and a neat place for kids

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Schönes Bed and Breakfast in einer ruhigen Umgebung. Ca 20 Minten vom Addo Nationalpark entfernt. Die Zimmer sind gross und schön eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist gut, das Nachtessen hervorragend. Pool vorhanden Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter.
