Everything was pretty good, But a bbq at our cabin would have been better as a family of four and husband trying to cook for us all, fresh towels would of also been great as I had to wash towels when I didn’t really want to do after having surgery.

Nice and close to beach and amenities. Great place for kids. Only thing that lets it down is that it is on the flight path from about 6am until 10pm. We really enjoyed our stay.

Family stay
Upgraded from a standard room to a premium room. Cost to upgrade was quite excessive. Facilities were great. Weather wasn't the best so couldn't use the pool or beach access. Standard room could have better heating system.

The shacks were perfect for our group who have mobility issues. The staff were great. The pool was lovely. It was unfortunate that there was a power outage and storms, so we were not able to use the pool for the duration of our stay. This was of no fault to anyone. We will certainly revisit in the future

We like what the park has to offer for the kids, as for the inside of cabin the couches were very dirty and I didn’t want to even sit on them. We didn’t have power for 2 days due to weather and was not informed once power was turned on like they said they would do. We also lost most of our food and drinks in our fridge due to this

Great stay but for a new cabin was pretty disappointing that the doors for the bedrooms wouldn't close, they were that stiff that if you did you probably wouldn't be able to open them

From the moment we entered the property we were verg unpressed with the look of the park. The only minor inconvenience was that you had to walk through the second bedroom to access the bathroom. I would, and have already, recommended The Retreat to my family and friends.

Our 3 night stay was lovely, kids had lots of fun with the pool and slides, games room. Lots of lovely open space for kicking footy, secure access to the beach, and within a lovely beach front walk to surf club. Lots of activities to do around the area. Staff were lovely. Our tv was fixed very promptly after arrival. Could have more taps to wash off near beach entrances. A great park

We really enjoyed staying there, loved the pool, playground & the jumping pillow, the grounds were beautiful....the cabin was well equiped, some spider webs ect around, the beds were very hard & we woke up with sore backs, would ve fantastic if there was a little cafe or kiosk or something, somewhere to get food like hot chips, pies, pasties, hot dogs ect

The park was clean. The pool looked great. Safe and secure. Friendly staff. The noise from adjoining units was loud and the overhead planes were VERY loud when trying to sleep

Comfortable & clean unit with all that you need for a relaxing time away from the hum drum of work.. Close to the beach & sea side walking track.. Unit could have had a oven not just a microwave.. Otherwise it is good value for money ..

As soon as we entered the door of our unit, we could smell this dirty carpet odour so we had to quickly open all the windows to get the smell dissapear. Then when looking for a glass so we could drink, all the glass were located on top of the sink at the toilet so we didnt even know if they were clean !! The look and location of the unit was really nice surrounded with trees and green grass. However, we could hear our next door neighbor from the second room and toilet so not great if you want a quiet stay. The location is close from everything you need if you want to stay away from the city but an overnight stay here is a bit pricey.
