"We had a lovely stay at The Feathers. Highlights - well appointed, modern room with comfortable bed; central location; extremely helpful and friendly staff; and very dog friendly. We didn't eat dinner or breakfast there so cannot comment on the food or restaurant service. Room for improvement - the room was a bit warm (even on a chilly June day) but by opening the window, it became too noisy. Not sure how such an old building could handle that - but otherwise, we very much enjoyed our stay, would stay again and would recommend to others! "

A wonderful place to stay

"My wife and I came to stay for a few days whilst working on my mum's house nearby. We brought our dog with us so we stayed in the cottage. It was perfect! Such a beautiful, quaint space with super friendly hosts. Chris & Nicki are so lovely, welcoming and adaptable. They provided us with tasty, wholesome breakfasts each morning (including freshly baked muffins). We would definitely recommend staying at Lower House B&B to friends and family."

"We had an absolutely lovely experience at the Salwey Arms this week. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the food was excellent and the service throughout our stay was warm and welcoming. A special mention to the owners, Ben and Jack, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Ben even took the time to have a personal chat with us - a genuinely kind and engaging gesture that made our visit feel even more special. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Salwey Arms to others, and are already looking forward to returning. A real gem!"
