The best Greek experience I have had on this trip. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A great place to hang out, relax, and talk to people, including many locals. The staff is very much involved, exuding local flavor all around. The brother of the owner of the hotel has a small eatery next door that is still a work in progress, but the kitchen is fully functional and puts out delicious food. He makes the best frappé, great for an afternoon at a table on the beach across the street.This hotel is an older building with no elevator, but staff will take your heavy bags up and down the stairs. One should be prepared for the issues with such a building, including small space. However, despite any of that, the charm of this place definitely makes me look forward to returning. It is “chill central,” and I was just happy to be there.

Warm and welcoming check-in, great location, was perfect for my first visit to Aegina. Hotel is very close to a small beach and the archaeological museum, as well as to the center of town. Plenty of restaurants nearby, too. I had never been to Aegina before and wasn’t sure what to expect since it is the closest island to Athens / Piraeus. I thoroughly enjoyed my time on the island and would definitely come back. Honestly had a better time here than on some of the more famous islands.

Family owned and run business with lovely sons Eric and Yannis and father Salvatore so welcoming and helpful. Also Manos on night shift keeping reception open until we're safely home. All their kindnesses were much appreciated. Had a wonderful time. Highly recommend Hotel Plaza!

Very lovely family, father, and sons, running this hotel. They were very accommodating, and very friendly, and helpful too. Our stay was short, but if we ever return to the island, we will stay at the Plaza Hotel. Our room had a fabulous view of the waterfront.

We were greeted warmly by our host, Yiannis. His brother, Eric, was just as friendly. It was like coming home. Best hospitality. They provided tips on local activities. Rooms are impeccable. Nice balcony too. Their hotel is very conveniently located a 5-10 minute walk from the ferry. Just a few steps from the hotel, the azure waters of the Aegean and majestic mountains await with breathtaking views. Tranquility abounds. Crystal clear waters! Charming town with lovely boutiques, restaurants, churches, beaches, sailing, bike and car rentals. Make sure to visit Marathonas beach! The marina with its quaint fishing boats were amazing. This was by far our favorite island. ευχαριστώ Yiannis and Eric!

Such a lovely family who run this place, so friendly and welcoming! Excellent location walking is two minutes from stepping off ferry at the port. And has a very nice view!

Friendly, family-run hotel in good location. However, the bathroom was minuscule and difficult to maneuver in. Steep stairs are a real challenge for seniors. Comfortable beds.

Great views and great service
This is a good, inexpensive and simple hotel with excellent sea views and service from the family that runs it. It is close to the centre of Aegina Town, and only a relatively short suitcase-tug from the harbour. Being on a main road it can be noisy with the ubiqitous motor scooters of the island, and storage space for clothes (except a wardrobe) is non-existant. But if you like good old-fashioned Greek accomodation, then this is a great place to stay.

The best in the business
Where do I even begin? This lovely small hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the port and is located on the water. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by Jiannis, one of the family members of this family-owned hotel. He was polite, kind, and ready to help with anything we needed. He helped us find the best ATV rental options and recommended this restaurant Amos, which was also situated right on the water, quite literally eating with your toes in the sand. The service maintained its extremely high quality when Eric, Jianni's brother joined, along with their father. To see a family work so hard to run such an incredible business is truly nice to see. The hotel itself is clean and quiet. Bedrooms lead out to a small balcony with two chairs, and the beds are comfortable. Shower has good water pressure and hot water. Overall it was a delightful experience and I would highly recommend it.

An excelent place to relax
The hotel is located near the lake, with a beautiful view of the harbor. Near the harbor you have access to all the facilities. The Hotel is a family business run by Dad along with his two sons, Yannis and Eric. People are receptive and friendly ready to help you anytime. Thank you all for receiving.

Wonderful hosts in an atmospheric small hotel on a tranquil Greek Island. Small but adequate room with a nice balcony over looking the beach, harbor, and historical archeological site. The location can't be beat.

Wonderful friendly owners. It's a good value hotel that is located very near to the ferry landing. The room was clean. The only small downside was the size of the bathroom which was small but of a minor concern as everything else was great including the restaurant.

Perfect location
Hotel is located couple of minutes away from port and center of Aegina town which was really convenient. Beautifull seaview from the hotel too! Owner family was very helpfull and nice people. Bathroom was a bit small.

Το ξενοδοχείο βρίσκεται λιγα λεπτά με τα πόδια από το λιμάνι & αμέσως μπήκε στην καρδιά μου, καθώς η ευγένεια & η αληθινά εγκάρδια υποδοχή με έκαναν να αισθανώ πολύ όμορφα. Το δωμάτιο που έμεινα ήταν στον πρώτο όροφο & χρειάατηκε να ανέβω μερικά σκαλιά, μια & δεν υπάρχει ανελκυστήρας. Η καθαριότητα, που είναι & το μεγαλύτερο ζητούμενο για εμένα, ήταν υποδειγματική. Το στρώμα ήταν καλό, η διακόσμηση καλόγουστη & η θέα φανταστική. Τα προϊόντα προσωπικής περιποίησης είναι καλής ποιότητας. Η περιοχή είναι ασφαλής & πολύ κοντά στο σταθμό των λεωφορείων, σε πιάτσα ταξί, σε καφετέριες, εστιατόρια, περίπτερα & σε καταστήματα με τοπικά προϊόντα & αναμνηστικά είδη. Σίγουρα θα το επιλέξω ξανά, μια & τόσο ο ιδιοκτήτης όσο & το προσωπικό είναι άριστοι επαγγελματίες & εξαιρετικοί άνθρωποι & τους ευχαριστώ για την όμορφη φιλοξενία τους.
