"On my way to the Aiden hotel apartments in koforidua Ghana I thought I had made a mistake in picking the hotel. I was looking at the surrounding area and I thought thereโs no way a hotel would be located here. I really thought I was going to fight because I knew that the way we were going had to be a setup. Then we turn onto the property and suddenly we were in another world. The way the property was maintained and how the staff were totally professional. The CEO and the General Manager were both very hands on. They were on hand to make sure everything ran smoothly and properly. The food was delicious and the kitchen staff knew how to make you feel welcome. They also had porters around to take care of the smallest details to the largest.When you sat outside there was always a comfortable breeze blowing as if you were somewhere on a beach and they had excellent smooth jazz playing around the property. I had a schedule made for the things I wanted to do while there. I was there about 15 days and I only left the property twice. Thatโs how relaxing the place is. So if youโre looking for a place to relax and just enjoy your surroundings this is the place. Iโve never written a review for any place Iโve ever been but this place deserves it. If you can overlook what it takes to get there you will be in for the biggest surprise.The Aiden hotel and apartments one of Ghana best secrets. I would like to thank the staff for a very beautiful time Thank you ๐๐๐"

"Our stay was fine. But because of the price, we had higher expectations. We could have stayed in another nearby resort with similar reviews at half the price and were kind of wishing we had-though we didnโt see those resorts for ourselves. We had an ocean view room that was roomy. The bed comfortable and AC worked great. The bathroom-large and clean. But even with plenty of space, there is no place to put toiletries or hang wet things. Just a single sink. Amenities were lacking. I usually overpack but since this was a 2 day trip and we were staying at an expensive resort I assumed theyโd have better toiletries. The only thing was single use shampoo and body wash. They did bring more when I asked. Also, no trash can in the bedroom. A suggestion: upgrade to electronic keys. Carrying around clunky keys to lock and unlock every time you go and come gets cumbersome. Breakfast was good. I believe there were 4 choices from the menu. Staff were fine. Not overly welcoming, but maybe it was because it was during the week and there were very few guests. Maybe staff are more friendly when thereโs more activity going on. Food was good, but restaurant prices were quite high. Got a falafel as an appetizer - 100 cedis, 3 little but tasty falafel and some pita. Virgin pina colada-80. Pools were pretty nice and there were tons of places to sit and enjoy the view. Sadly, the ocean isnโt really swimmable due to trash. Thatโs a Ghana problem. Response from host team was always quick."

"Our stay at Coconut Pointe was enjoyable and relaxing! We enjoyed an ocean-view room. Our access to the balcony made dine-in breakfasts delightful. We loved the food - the menu had a wide selection of Ghanaian and Western classics, with enough choice for all. The staff was friendly and helpful. In particular, Mr. John Agyeman was an excellent host. It seems they were renovating the beach-front gazebo during our stay, which led to a bit of construction noise, but it didnโt take away from our overall experience. We highly recommend this hotel for the first time or return returning travellers."

"Had a wonderful stay overall โ definitely a 5-star experience. Just a couple of minor points that may be worth looking into: the air conditioning in our room felt slightly stuffy at times, and the 2 treadmills in the gym were noisy with a lot of friction, particularly around the running belt making it unusable. Otherwise, everything was excellent."
